EXCLUSIVE: Fox News has learned that more than 100 former Trump administration officials have formed a growing coalition backing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to be the Republican Party's 2024 presidential nominee.
According to multiple sources within the group, officially known as "The Eight-Year Alliance," DeSantis is "a proven winner," a contender with a depth of policy proven by what he's accomplished at the state level, and a leader who "does what he says."

As for state crimes, I believe Trump is on his own there without the ability to get pardoned except by Governors of the states where he is, or will be charged.
I really hope Trump has a good retirement from politics. I liked lower tax rates, energy independence, and no trans in the military. Let's hope Ron can get the deep state under control; which is what Trump failed miserably at.

We know Trump was criminally set up by top officials in these government agencies, we know they were criminally undermining and attacking Trump and his associates, 24/7 for 7 years, and then attempted to frame Trump, destabilize and overthrow his administration, all of which totally influenced the last election. We know all this.
And DeSantis’ response to all this criminal tyranny against Trump is to run AGAINST Trump?

It remains to be seen. I have high hopes for him, but he's going nowhere in 2024. Still, I'd like for him to at least debate Trump in the primary and get some chops for 2028.

Perhaps he is, but it’s common knowledge that at least a hundred of people who were connected to the Trump administration were and still are Deep State apparatchiks.
