Nobody knows for sure how DeSantis will do on the national stage. What I do know is that Trump knew about the planned voter fraud in early 2020, yet somehow failed to stop it even with the entire Executive branch at his command. If he couldn't stop it in 2020 with the DOJ answering to him, how is he going to stop it in 2024 with the DOJ working for Biden (or whoever is running the show)? It's not a question of ego but of who can do a better job of safeguarding our elections. Right now that's looking more like the guy who actually arrested fraudulent voters.
