Rapper and Hollywood actor Ice Cube has called on black Americans to reconsider voting for the Democrat Party because “nothing has changed.”
Ice Cube, whose real name is O’Shea Jackson, appeared on Full Send Podcast with hosts Kyle Forgeard and Steiny Steinberg, where he voiced his political views and criticisms of the Democrat Party.
Ice Cube has been working to bridge the gap between politicians and grassroots movements with projects like “Contract with Black America.”
In 2020, the rapper faced backlash for working with then-President Trump on his plan for black Americans.
Ice Cube defended working with Trump at the time, tweeting, “Every side is the Darkside for us here in America. They’re all the same until something changes for us. They all lie, and they all cheat, but we can’t afford not to negotiate with whoever is in power, or our condition in this country will never change. Our justice is bipartisan.”

The democrats hope reparations will keep them on the plantation
Another black racist that only cares about his own race. Any white person with similar views about their own race would be branded evil and charged with a hate crime.
I applaud his efforts.
But I will admit that I don’t think votes are actually counted in most black cities. Philadelphia? Everybody “knows” that it will go heavy Democrat. I don’t think they bother to count. They just announce that Philadelphia went 97% Democrat this year. No one is surprised. It’s easy. Sure, you can speak to black voters in Philadelphia and other locations and actually convince many of them to vote Republican. But no one will ever know that, because the ballot total will still be 97% Democrat.
If Metallica or Guns and Roses would have made a song about black women, you could see the U.S. burn from space.
I heard some last night that was absolutely disgusting. I’m no prude, but this was unreal. ZERO respect for women. If Ice could convince a lot of folks to get off the demo lies, it might help.
“Some Girls”. 1978
Well it sounds like hes not for either major party. They’re going socialist
Yeah, this will be about as effective as those public service announcements at the end of alcohol commercials to “drink responsibly.”
“Cube made a song in 1994 calling white women “Cave
Bitches.””
Thus confirming the reason I do not listen to rap “music”.
I’ve accidentally heard a bit of it though. There is nothing like standing at the gas pump filling your car with gas and watching the numbers at the pump go steadily upwards, only to have a car pull up to the neighboring pump with the car stereo set to 11 with that crap blaring out loud enough to cause hearing damage. Every other word is vulgar and the other words may be as well. But I do not speak “rap” or ebonics and therefore, am not exactly sure.
After sitting at a red-light one time for a few minutes, I actually pulled over to check if my car was having engine or transmission problems due to a sudden loud “thunking” sound. I was relieved to finally figure out it was the bass speakers and the rap music coming from the car next to me at the red-light.
They’re called savages for a reason.
So, don't get excited everyone. Listen to the video and hear what he said for yourself.
The Rolling Stones were tongue-in-cheek and were talking about sex. I'm talking about outright denigration of black women, had a rock band made a song denigrating black women there'd be riots everywhere and that band wouldn't be eligible for the Rock and Roll HoF.
The republican and democrat party are already socialist, so pimping for the either major party is socialist in nature.
Let’s tear him down all we can. He’s busy trying to run Black people away from the Democrat party. By all means, let’s not welcome them with open arms.
“Unfortunately, the article heading is not quite the truth. He never actually called for Blacks to ditch the Democrat Party. He said; “something has to change”.”
Yes. I should have mentioned that. However, to have someone with such a following introduce the subject that democrats were not listening to blacks, while at the same time indicating that Republicans were more receptive to listening to his concerns, is quite a change in the narrative from even a couple years ago.
I looked up the lyrics to that song. There are a few vulgarities in it, but the central theme was that he was generally disgusted with typical white SoCal girls trying to bed him down after he got famous, when they didn’t really chase him before.
I’ll give him a pass.
He had zero effect in 2020 or 2022. Not likely he’ll have an effect in 2024
