I'm not a fan of rap music since I do not think it is music and most of what I hear about the lyrics is vulgar. However, based upon his popularity and the popularity of the genre itself, I assume Ice-Cube has a large following in the black community. Is it possible he might get through to a few of them and convince some of his listeners that it's time to change parties.

I applaud his efforts.

But I will admit that I don’t think votes are actually counted in most black cities. Philadelphia? Everybody “knows” that it will go heavy Democrat. I don’t think they bother to count. They just announce that Philadelphia went 97% Democrat this year. No one is surprised. It’s easy. Sure, you can speak to black voters in Philadelphia and other locations and actually convince many of them to vote Republican. But no one will ever know that, because the ballot total will still be 97% Democrat.

How about this: Since Obama/Holder's BLM was created and set loose on America's streets with protection from the DOJ - they have burned down your cities, and they have "defunded your police" - such that compared to 2020 baseline murder rates, and additional 4000 blacks are dead by murder, and another 5000 blacks are dead from traffic fatalities.

So a lot has changed - for the worse.

But unless he repents, leftist and rapper "Mr. Ice Cube" is very much still part of the problem.
