The CIA had JFK killed because he promised air support to the Cuban Freedom Fighters then at the last moment he crayfished, chickened out, or whatever you want to call it, with RFK, Jr’s full support, and withdrew the air support. That doomed the invasion. JFK had to go because he had embarrassed us in the eyes of the free world by promising support then denying it.
JFK was kind of like the movie star James Dean, the best thing that happened to his career was that he died in the middle of it. If he hadn’t been shot, he would been a one term president on the level with George H.W. Bush.
I generally believe they are just incompetent and they don’t want the American people to know just how and to what extent they are incapable of doing the things that we’ve believed that they could do. How many things have they missed? How many governments did they overthrow and then a worse regime was in place? (Vietnam, Libya, etc).
I think that Oswald was the lone assassin and the Warren commission essentially got it right. RFK Jr’s opinion is a good reason not to vote for him. LBJ had a strong motive to kill JFK but was innocent, which is why he drafted Earl Warren, a friend of JFK and career prosecutor, to investigate. If LBJ was guilty he would have asked J. Edgar Hoover to investigate.
