Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., suggested that calls for longtime Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., to resign were sexist, noting that she has "never seen them go after a man who was sick in the Senate in that way," appearing to be a dig at Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., who has been absent for a couple of months due to clinical depression.
"It’s interesting to me. I don’t know what political agendas are at work that are going after Sen. Feinstein in that way. I’ve never seen them go after a man who was sick in the Senate in that way," Pelosi told reporters Wednesday.
Pelosi, who previously endorsed Feinstein in 2017, called Feinstein a "champion for California" as calls for the senator's resignation have grown in popularity. Pelosi also said she has seen "up close and first-hand" Feinstein's "great leadership for our country but especially our state of California" after having served in Congress for nearly two decades.

Feinstein has Alzheimer's, Fetterman has Brain Damage due to stroke. Both are incapacitated but diagnosis are different.

To be completely fair, Fetterman is not 89 years old.

In all honesty Feinstein hasn’t had a severe stroke that we know of, Pelosi in a drunken stupor has a point Feinstein and Fetterman are both mentally handicapped and need to be removed but only one is being called out, why ??

She forgets that Feinstein head the important Judiciary Committee, while Fetterman is just a seat-warmer.
Democrats are frustrated that Feinstein's absence is stalling the Judiciary Committee from approving leftist judicial nominees.
While it's good for our side that Feinstein is holding on, I'm surprised that Pelosi stepped into this one.

All members of Congress and the presidency, any party, should be asked to resign if they are mentally or physically unable to serve. That includes Biden, Fetterman, Feinstein, McConnell, Pelosi, etc.

All 3 need to resign. All 3 are a disgrace.
There are several other male Dems in the Senate and Congress, such as Blumenthal, who are pretty much incapacitated now, and nobody’s clamoring for them to get out.
But one of the things about DiFi (I lived in SF when she was mayor) was that she had a few scraps of common sense. Pelosi, for example, has none.
But I think that’s precisely the reason they suddenly want her out. She’s missed 60 votes (probably Fetterman without his body double and the wonders of video conferencing would have missed a lot of votes as well). She’s easier to get out because she’s a woman, but the reason they really want her gone is that she was only 99.9% reliable. Every so often she’d get away and make an almost sane statement.

How old is he now? How long before he stumbles and falls down a flight of stairs at night when nobody is around to see it? I am terrible with political predictions because I was certain Harris was going to be President for over a year by now. I still read the news each day hoping Joe Biden has decided to resign.
