Americans suffering from anxiety and sleep disorders have been unable to get their prescriptions filled at pharmacies due to secret provisions in a recently settled lawsuit over the proliferation of opioids, according to a report. Pharmacists say that they are being prevented from fulfilling orders on key medications such as Xanax and Adderall due to a 2021 settlement with three of the nation’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers — AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal Health, and McKesson.

Pharmacists say that they are being prevented from fulfilling orders on key medications such as Xanax and Adderall due to a 2021 settlement with three of the nation’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers — AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal Health, and McKesson.

The three companies agreed to pay a collective $19.5 billion to 46 states nationwide who sued the firms, settling thousands of lawsuits that were filed by local governments, Native American tribes, hospitals groups, and others. A clause in the settlement places a cap on the number of controlled substances that pharmacies are allowed to dispense, according to Bloomberg News.

Step 1: Drive everyone crazy.
Step 2: Give everyone medicine.
Step 3: Take the medicine away.

Xanax and Adderall are not opiates.

More BS imposed on the public by the legal system.

Easy Fix.

Make it a Felony for any Doctor to prescribe or any Pharmacist to dispense ANY Opiod to ANY Public Employee Nationwide. Regular citizens will have enough then.

Xanax is a benzodiazepine, and Adderall is a amphetamine.

Yes and if you ever have to deal with a kid who doesn’t have ADHD medication you’ll understand why it’s so difficult.

So, folks with chronic pain, even cancer can't get pain meds, but they can get Chicom / Mexican cartel heroin and fentanyl delivered to their house by the local unlicensed pharmacist.

Let's Go, Brandon!

Never understood the anxiety thing... makes absolutely no sense.

Kind of like 99% of mood disorders. Big pharma come up with 3 letter diseases then makes a drug for it and several other drugs to counter act the original drug.

I’m anti prescription drug for just about anything. I don’t trust big pharma.. by definition I’m guessing that’s anxiety but then again I hate cities, liberals and people for the most part. I’m sure there’s a drug for that.

I get it at times, but deal with it by trying to avoid everything upsetting. It is debilitating when I have had dissociative episodes... The joys of being raised by a mentally ill mother... Not kidding.

I couldn’t agree more, been dealing with it for years. My son’s a 4.0 college junior with his meds and would be lucky if he could be a D student without them.

No worries. ADHD has been replaced with Gender Dysphoria. All the cool kids are queer now. Big Pharma can switch manufacturing to puberty blockers and later they get an anti-depressant customer for life. Well, at least until they commit suicide.

Xanax withdrawal can kill a person. Many can’t stop it without lifelong withdrawal symptoms and it becomes addictive after 4-6 weeks on it, and even then withdrawal is awful. This is very bad. There’s a reason it’s outlawed in some other countries.
