Phillip Washington, Biden’s pick to head the Federal Aviation Administration, has withdrawn his name from nomination. The White House official attributed the action to “an onslaught of unfounded Republican attacks.” Those who watched his March 1 hearing have cause to wonder.
Washington, who was part of the Biden transition team, was unable to answer basic aviation safety questions such as: What are the operational limitations of a pilot flying under “basic med?” What causes an aircraft to spin or stall? What are the six types of special-use airspace that appear on FAA charts? What are the three types of certifications the FAA requires as part of the manufacturing process?

I saw the Congressional questioning of the Interior Secretary yesterday. It was astounding — absolutely pitiful. She gives boxes of rocks a good name. The Rep who questioned her used to be the Interior Secretary and knew his stuff. She knew absolutely nothing. She is part American Indian and that is the ONLY reason she got the job.
Everyone in the Biden Administration, fraud that it is, is an equity hire.

I saw that as well, It’s obvious that the senate staff members who are in charge of preparing these nominees are just as oblivious as the nominees themselves. Their responses make it seem that they are surprised to be there and to be asked any questions at all. Apparently, they don’t even bother to study the duties and basic requirements of the position. I guess they just see dollar signs and power as they hope to become a part of the “ruling” class.
And, these are not “one-offs”. Look at every current Cabinet official and you will that this is now the norm.
It appears that Biden doesn’t want anyone smarter than him and he’s an idiot so....this is what we get.
Odumbo had Biden as his VP because Biden is dumber than him. Biden has to dig deep to find people dumber than he is.

If you view Biden’s actions through the prism of him being the Manchurian president, everything makes sense.
Incompetence is only a cover. They are deliberately taking actions to damage the country.

These and others were “gotcha” questions by Ted Budd of NC. I watched the hearing and Budd’s tactics were pretty shabby. I would venture to say that in the entire history of the FAA, almost no FAA Administrator would be able to answer any or all of those questions.
Even I, a pilot, couldn’t answer some of those questions.
Washington wasn’t there to answer questions typical for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license or an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics (A&P)license.
He was rejected (withdrawn, if you like), which I wholeheartedly agree with.

That’s my take, as well. Harris is the ultimate know-nothing gas bag.
All this ridiculous “administration” wants to do is collect as many absolutely meaningless “firsts” as possible.
Like affirmative action has done, these horrendous hires could set back competent and capable minority hires in government 50 or 100 years.
They think a war will do the trick—seal war powers on the president and Democrat-Republicrat Party (to Hell with the populist-libertarians’) But this war will not be what they expect—we could lose—withdrawal will not be permitted by our enemies—Total surrender—Maybe on the deck of the USS Missouri Then comes the War Crimes Trials and hangings. An occupation Government will be set up in East and west America. America will be the breadbasket of China, while we starve—strip mines to feed the factories of China. Law and order will be harsh but it will be safe to walk the streets again. Not all will be bad. Might even be freer in some ways.
