isn’t it more serious than ‘bread and circuses’ as it goes beyond feeding DJT to the lions to the crowd’s delight. it attacks the integrity and reputation of our system of justice in zillions of peoples’ eyes. can anarchy be far behind as fewer and fewer respect the rule of law?

My guess is fatso will back away from the prosecution. Avanatti was on the short list of dem nominees for president…. Before he ended up in jail. Fatso should apologize to trump and go prosecute criminals in NYC…… for his own sake

All a distraction to mute Congressional revelations on the Biden Crime Family, the disastrous war in Ukraine, the Russia-China alliance, the Wuhan lab leak, and the looming demise of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. All Trump, all the time.

Many aren’t paying attention and are easily distracted by shiny entertainment objects.

Tilapia has only made a few posts so far. This could be a challenge.
It makes me wonder if the guy is going to listen to his constituents who want Trump destroyed and go ahead and indict him, knowing it would destroy his career as a prosecutor.
Or will he listen to the Democrats warnings of them who know that there’s something amiss.

That’s the part I don’t understand. Either the SOL applies to all crimes, or it doesn’t. I could be sold on putting it on hold for a sitting President—but even with that this has gone on 2-3 years more than it should have.
And doesn’t a local DA have the authority to get a Federal Indictment?
I doubt that this gets passed a basic hearing. But…that’s not really the point is it?
The point is to:
1) Have headlines about Trump "facing criminal indictment"
2) Have headlines about Trump being "under a cloud of suspicion"
3) Have pictures of Trump in handcuffs
4) Have pictures of Trump in a courtroom facing a judge.
That is all. Fat Alvin knows he can't get any more than that ... and also knows that he doesn't need to.
