I refuse to believe anything from the government unless it’s really... I mean REALLY, REALLY CRAZY. Then I’ll believe that it’s true. Otherwise, it’s all lies.
I wouldn’t count the US Military out yet. Say what you want,
the Chinese military has nothing near to us in its troops.
It’s Navy is looking more impressive, but the US has resources
also. We can counter China’s military rather well at the
moment.
We have much more combat experience, and I think our grunt
training is second to none.
The problem as I see it, is we need to get busy building
up our capabilities.
We can’t rest on our laurels.
Of course that’s just what Biden will do, so it’s
imperative that we fight tooth and nail to oust the Left
from our major institutions.
I'm waiting to hear which country actually has the greatest, most powerful military in the world.

media outlets have been playing up China’s Navy as being
bigger than ours, and thus inferring ours was becoming
second rate.
I believe part of that alignment is not as it seems, because
the Biden administration is simply AWOL as it relates to
keeping our iron in the fire with some of those entities.

The Roman Republic had the greatest military on the planet and that armed force enabled Rome to grow from a city state to the largest and most powerful nation. The Roman Republic fell when the military became politicized. Under the Roman Empire the military ultimately determined who would be head of state. As time passed the military, the governing bureaucracy, and the people became more and more corrupt, exploitive, tyrannical and weak. Eventually the military became a paper tiger incapable of defending the borders. Barbarians invaded, and civilization was destroyed for 1000 years.
Since the 1950’s the United States has possessed the strongest military on the planet and that military has been deployed across the planet continuously defending the commercial interests of the American empire and whims of the governing elites. Like Roman emperors, Presidents deploy the military in multi year wars on their own arbitrary authority, ignoring the constitutional requirement for Congress, the legal voice of the people in governance, to authorize war. Meanwhile millions of invaders have poured across our undefended borders, settling permanently in the homeland. The invaders weaken the nation by destroying respect for law and consuming resources paid for by citizen taxpayers.
What good is a strong military if it does not protect the citizens of the homeland? The people of border states in the United States today are living lives similar to a 4th century Roman farmer, seeing his home and crops destroyed by Germanic tribes crossing the border to settle inside the hollowed out Roman Empire.
An strong expensive army the people pay for, but does not protect them, has no value to the nation.
Possibly one of the most corrupt nations in Europe. Surely not one of the most corrupt on Earth. There are many Third World contenders.
