Poll: Most Republicans, Republican-Leaning Voters Want Donald Trump as 2024 GOP Nominee

Most Republicans and Republican-leaning voters want former President Donald Trump as the 2024 GOP nominee, a recent survey from The Economist/YouGov shows.

“Who do you want to be the Republican Party’s nominee for president in 2024?” the survey asked both Republicans and Republican-leaners.

The survey found that among both groups, 63 percent chose Trump, while only 20 percent said “someone else.” Another 18 percent said they are not sure.

Sixty-one percent of Republicans, specifically, said they want Trump as the 2024 GOP nominee, and 69 percent of independents said the same. Additionally, 65 percent of Trump 2020 voters want the former president to be the nominee.

In comparison, 61 percent of Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents want President Joe Biden as their nominee, as do 62 percent of Biden 2020 voters, who chose Biden over someone else.

--cut--

The survey was taken March 4 – 7, 2023, among 1,500 U.S. adult citizens.

It comes on the heels of several other polls showing Trump dominating in the hypothetical 2024 presidential primary field.

The most recent Morning Consult survey, for instance, shows Trump actually gaining in support. According to that survey, his support has increased three percent — to 53 percent in the potentially crowded field.

As Breitbart News reported:

The latest survey shows Trump dominating his challengers — some potential, some formally in the race — with a majority, 53 percent, selecting him as their number one choice. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is the only potential challenger who comes remotely close, but even he falls 25 points behind, with just 28 percent support.

Trump boasts the highest favorability rating out of all the candidates listed, as 80 percent have a favorable view of him, compared to 19 percent who do not. Unlike the other candidates, Trump has the advantage of name recognition. For instance, while 66 percent view DeSantis favorably, 11 percent said they have never heard of him. Another 14 percent have an unfavorable view.

Meanwhile, an Emerson College Polling survey released this week showed Trump also gaining majority support in New Hampshire, leading the potential Republican field by 58 percent.

Does anyone really think dems are going to allow Trump or any other republican to be President ever again? I’m sure they’ve already got another sure-fire way to prevent this in 2024 and for eternity.

If Pig-Boy (Biden) is re-elected for any reason, I believe Texas will leave the union.

Every time I check in with CNN or MSNBC I’m told that they caught Trump. It sounds trite, but it’s true. I can’t be positive if they cover Trump 24/7, but I saw CNN briefly yesterday while running errands and golly gee, what do you know, they have Trump dead to rights on a felony charge related to hush payments to a porn star.

We know that Trump’s support is durable - we stick with him no matter what they throw at him..But an interesting question is: can he grow his base beyond what he already has?

It’s interesting because Trump’s gonna be Trump. — that is, he’s gonna talk and act just like he always does. So if his support grows (as this article suggests) it’s because people who didn’t support him before are now saying they do. And since he hasn’t changed, that means they must have.

Trump has a base core of supporters that will stick with them all the way to the bottom of the ocean this is true. However that doesn’t mean he’s going to win. Much of the system that defeated him last time is still in place this time. So he or any Republican who’s not a swamp member that wins the nomination must be ready to fight this machine because the RNC isn’t going to do it for him. The same RNC trump supported the leader of.

Trey Smith: The Vision of the Dark Tracks!

Vision of the Dark Tracks: This 30-minute presentation by Trey Smith covers a vision from 2018 by Henry Shaffer and prophecy surrounding the year of 2023.

In the vision Henry Schaffer saw a very dark time that would specifically occur in the year of 2023. People were walking on a dark set of railroad tracks. There was no electricity, and food may have had shortages.

Where they were on these railroad tracks was darkness. However, where they were headed there was light.

At the time Henry Schaffer told me this vision of a very dark America in the year of 2023, I did not believe him. However, the vision he told me simply would not leave my thoughts. I believed that Donald Trump would have two terms back-to-back. I also believed you have a time of prosper that would last until the end of those terms.

During the year of 2018 (the year of the vision) America was booming financially. Even liberal TV shows and comedians such as Bill Maher openly called for financial devastation to come as it would injure the re-election hopes for Trump.

They got their wish.

However, what the prophetic words from Kim Clement and others actually contained were imageries of very dark times between those two terms. More specifically, Kim had had stated that following the second impeachment, Trump would be "Set-Aside".

In short, whilst I focused on the positive parts of the prophecies, there were many dark parts. Those dark parts appear to be the catalyst of what many have described as a "Global Awakening".

In such awakening both America and the world, at least for a time, would have days unlike any in our life-times.

I don’t care what the results are, I’m voting for Trump. The Dems can steal it again, doesn’t matter, I’m for Trump. Only Trump can reverse the crap and destruction that Biden is causing.
