A school district in Colorado hired a self-proclaimed “genderqueer shapeshifter” and “witch” to conduct staff training on “transgender” issues.
According to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from Parents Defending Education (PDE), the Thompson School District hired Silen Wellington, a “transgender” activist, to conduct the training.
While specific information on the presentation was not provided, as the district was “not in possession of any materials,” it did include information on topics to be discussed.

I have thought about this is the past. The great vision of the moonshot, combined with incredible difficulty and complexity, the challenge so to speak, put a spark into many young men to want to become physicists and engineers, myself included. It made men dream about something much greater themselves. That caused a demand from people and an insistence that schools teach mathematics and hard sciences so that their children could go to college and study the things that it takes to go into space.
I feel like I was at the end of that generation of dreamers and the dream died out for future generations. Just look at the majors that exist today at colleges and universities that did not exist 40 years ago. Identity studies of various varieties, social justice, equity, and sham climatology majors far out number new majors in things like quantum computing and nanotechnology.
Where’s the vision to work towards, build and accomplish something truly extraordinary? Even when people fall short of their goals, they often achieve great thing, things greater than if they had no goals.

Having moved from my Florida, i recognize the forecast of doom for the entire state of Colorado, where every seeming choice being made is for the ‘more stupider’, more expensive, equity diversity Karen driven mistakes that will abound and destroy the state. Energy destruction and economy are going to be the next to go.
Great scenery, especially when the winter snow covers all of the crap and junk. But just like liberalism, underneath is a preponderance of ugliness waiting to be revealed. Save the wolves, screw the sheep.
