Activist and author Gloria Steinem said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that gender equality will not be achieved until men are raising children as much as women are.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton asked, “Gloria, you have been pointing out for decades while women can and do work full-time in the paid labor force, it is still often expected they continue to work full-time in the unpaid labor force. As you look at where we are and think about what now needs to happen to move this agenda forward, what are you hoping to convey to this audience and to everybody watching?

To say that women are vastly superior at child rearing is not an insult. It is a compliment.
This from a woman who has no children........................
...might also be sulfur.
You want to talk about equality? Okay, right after you register for Selective Service…and after you investigate that bump in the night.
Well with all of Clintoons Gusty Women out there wanting to be men, why the hell should we work anyway. As long as somebody is getting up and the morning going to work and bringing home the beer money in the evening, who the hell cares who it is. Let the women do it. Mr. Moms are all over the Millennial, Snowflake, Twinkie and Zero G generations already.
That’s great! We can have some female millwrights, oil field workers, coal miners, ironworkers, bricklayers, then we’ll be equal.
I reject the entire premise of the headline. Real men, fathers do just that, we just provide a different perspective and approach.
It is folly to expect men to raise children in the way women nature, we each provide a needed perspective and model for the child to watch and learn from, children benefit from the differences.
Gloria Steinem has a lot to do with the fact that so many American women are alone, neurotic and so unhappy. She’s laughable and utterly irrelevant now, but she’s done a lot of damage in her time.
You beat me to it.
One can watch and observe others, which has value in creating a propositions - but she has no experience herself and its clear she speaks pure bullshit manufactured 100% by the rigid ideology in her mind.
Her an obsession with such an insane definition of “equality” is crazy to the max she needs to be confined for her own safety in an ERR Equality Rubber Room
Why men parenting the benchmark?
Why not an equal amount of women, in construction, Lineman, Oil Rigging, fishing, logging, etc.. (i.e.) The high risk, high paying jobs?
"Vive la différence"
I think it’s about time that the Feminazis recognize that every mother is a working mother, whether or not she’s paid for that work. It’s time to give stay at home moms some respect. A lot of them aren’t sitting around eating bon bons and watching soap operas. They may be volunteering at church, the school, or otherwise in the community, besides taking care of children, and these places would be LOST without their efforts. They are sacrificing careers and monetary benefits for the good of their children and of other children.
Gloria Steinem was “deep state” CIA in her youth.
Wanna piss off a feminist? Tell it that feminism exists at the express permission and tolerance of the patriarchy.
I agree. Fathers are very important in children’s lives. Kids need both.
There will never be equality for the simple reason that women are not equal and at the same time more equal.
Gloria Steinem supported the ultimate male authority figure (Bubba Clinton) getting blow jobs from an 20 year old intern who he he was the boss of in the White House... If she ever had any opinion worthwhile before that nastiness... She hasn’t had a valid opinion on any woman related issues since then. Her opinions are worthless.
says the woman with no children at all.
Steinem was born on March 25, 1934, in Toledo, Ohio,[4] the daughter of Ruth (née Nuneviller) and Leo Steinem. Her mother was Presbyterian, mostly of German (including Prussian) and some Scottish descent.[11][12] Her father was Jewish, the son of immigrants from Württemberg, Germany, and Radziejów, Poland.[12][13][14][15] Her paternal grandmother, Pauline Perlmutter Steinem, was chairwoman of the educational committee of the National Woman Suffrage Association, a delegate to the 1908 International Council of Women, and the first woman to be elected to the Toledo Board of Education, as well as a leader in the movement for vocational education
