Both my son (in his mid 30’s) and a close friend of my daughter (late 20’s) developed bad cases of shingles after a “booster” jab.

Son is a Federal employee and didn’t have much of a choice (but would have gotten it anyways, as he has gone off the liberal/atheist/non-binary deep end) — d’s friend was required or else was not allowed to attend college where she was going into her senior year

The vax trashes your immune system. Shingles is cause by long time remnants of chicken pox. The vax increases your chances of getting shingles and a a host of other conditions, because your immune system is then weak.

Don’t know about that but my understanding is that shingles is caused by tge “reawakening” of dormant chickenpox virus from a previous infection.

I had shingles at 15.
Doc took pics and said I was youngest known to get it.

( did have chickenpox vac though )

Who needs clot shot to awaken shingles. DiFi is OLD enough to be at high risk from age alone. Usually shingles is treated as outpatient with oral antivirals. Hospitalization conceivably needed to care for the affected, potentially ulcerated skin, for pain relief (again outpatient meds often suffice), perhaps for eye care (if unlucky enough to put it there) or for relatively rare more severe complications. DiFi also might be getting hospital care as a rich VIP when normals wouldn’t be allowed it.

. In any case the Senate tally is now 49 allegedly GOP, 46 in service official Dems, 3 allegedly Independent Dems plus Harris to break ties. One more Rat on sick call, or if Manchin or Sinema make waves, and they’d have to play their Murky or Mitt cards or lose a vote.
