Spotted owls must inhabit somewhere that they are targetting for control.

I thought Cauliphonya lead the nation in everything. Arizona has been protecting those little mouse-eaters for 50 years! That’s where the phrase, shoot, shovel and shut up came from.

Gets kind of tough to wage war against Russia and China at the same time when you have crap like this going on at the home front.

Something tells me that we didn’t have these problems during WW2 and during most of the Cold War.

A classic spotted owl stew recipe simmering in white wine and vegetables is sure to bring comfort to your table. If you don’t want tot use the wine, just add an additional 1/4 cup of owl broth as a substitute.
Ingredients
• 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 2 Spotted Owls well plucked and minus the heads and feet
• 2 teaspoons butter
• 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
• 1/2 cup chopped celery
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 cup fat-free, lower-sodium owl broth
• 1/4 cup dry white wine
• 2 cups (3-inch) julienne-cut carrot
• 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Deep woods owls have a better and piquant flavor than those from near human habitations

Exactly how I feel.

I was part of a BLM spotted owl survey.

My advise, check the numbers reported with a find tooth comb.

Audit the survey .

Anyone can challenge these rules or diktats promulgated by any federal agency. That includes any person reading this post. If the rule is not based on science, it must be rescinded.

However, such action would require so-called “conservatives” to get off their fat asses and do something besides worshiping Mammon.

That crap did not work in the PNW. On 100% trust from my Uncle (Retired GPNF ranger), how the spotted owl got on the protected list and the myth of them only being in old growth timber goes as this. The Gifford Pinchot forest service sent another ranger out to 2nd and 3rd growth timber reprods and hooted for owls, the problem is, those reprods were hours away from the ranger station, so his time was limited (government worker mentality), he hooted for them in daylight hours, as we all know most owls are nocturnal predators, and he was deaf as a post, so if they were awake he wouldnt have been able to hear them hoot back. The spotted owl bs devistated countless communities and families. I have seen spotted owls in new timber plots and old growth, they go where their food is.

Stuffed California spotted owls placed where ever where the state doesn’t want you to build.

Also ring tailed spiders seen in the area.

We need to preserve these habitats in their natural state to protect the spotted owls and ensure that when the next wildfire passes through only a few handfuls of ashes will be left. Oh, and some barbecued spotted owls.
