Honestly a GS-14 Air Traffic Controller at a place like LAX is probably worth $145,000.00. At that level they are operating in a super high stress environment and a GS-14 controller is supposed to handle the most complicated air traffic control duties.
Bingo! Enforcing term limits on elected types in the FedGov is useless unless many in the bureaucracy are on a time limit also. This should apply to any Civil Service position above GS-5 or so. After one stint in the FedGov you are out and cannot be rehired back into the Fed Gov fold at any position.
