Welp, there it is: the stoopidest thing you’ll read, today. Hopefully, anyway.
(Excerpt) Read more at redstate.com ...
Says the writer who is undoubtedly pro-abortion.
I have always said that in the future all former pet owners would be made out to be as horrible as slave owners have been.
Every pet owner will be depicted as having chained up their pet in backyard, when not beating it.
That ties it, I’m getting a pet liberal.
So pathetic!
what do you get when you spell dog backwards?...
Anyway, I made the mistake of mentioning this article to my cat. The author had better stay away from my house for awhile. His stupid opinions made Mr. Whiskers angry. And the author wouldn’t like Mr. Whiskers when he’s angry.
One of my cats is somewhat aloof but still shows affection in her own way. If they felt mistreated or the grass is greener on then other side, they have plenty of freedom and opportunities to flee and pursue happiness elsewhere. So far, they have declined to do that and chosen regular pettings, scratchings behind the ears and back, regular feedings and trips to the vet if they need it.
ONOB
Well, maybe Mitt Romney.
The more i’m around people, the more i love my dog.
Farm Dog Jake, a border collie. Smartest dog alive!
I don’t have any pets. I do have some barn cats that have taken up here over the years. Sometimes there is four out there and sometimes there is five, and even occasionally six. Sometimes we have a dog or two.
I have a lot of empathy for them. To the point that we buy cat food by the 50 lb bag.
I probably have all these cats due to people such as this writer who thinks it is fine to ride out into the country and drop off their no longer wanted dog or cat in order to set it free.
So, bug off! And, don’t lecture me about empathy!
***lower life expectancy***
LOLOLOL.
Clearly this person doesn’t know what happens out there in the wild. Nature can be very cruel to animals in the wild. I’m fairly certain that my two cats are living much longer lives than the owls, coyotes, and hawks near me would prefer them to live.
My toy poodle is a highly intelligent little brat and she deserves to be spanked more often than not. Yes, I have zero empathy when she ignores her training and displays bad behavior. On the other hand, I have a lot of empathy for my Maltese - he just had the bad luck to be born dumb. :)
Tell Mr. Whiskers you have been reading the Babylon Bee again.
That is where this nonsense belongs.
I feel for your Maltese. Being born dumb is a curse. At least he can not vote. ;-)
I hear they’re extremely difficult to housebreak.
And they’re noisy.
And they leave a mess everywhere they go.
I do feel bad for dogs who are living with a litter or with other dogs, happy as can be, then get adopted and left alone all day when the owners are at work. I always adopt in pairs so my critters have someone to play with.
