Trump is an insider in the Big Game. He operates in a different world with different rules. We have almost no clue.
It’s like carnies at the traveling fair or circus. They circulate and operate in their own domain between and behind the tents, speak their own language, have their own rules. We rubes just walk down the brightly lit midway and stuff our faces and throw away our money. But the carnies run things.
Trump is speaking carny in front of us rubes, and we find it upsetting. It doesn’t match our Leave It To Beaver template for “good” people and “polite” behavior.
Boy do we have a lot to learn.
Even if this were true, which it’s obviously not, it would only show Trump to be an ungracious scumbag, who was jealous of DeSantis, even before DeSantis become Governor, to make him even ask for the endorsement.
That is because DeSantis was a well known Florida Congressman before he ran for Governor. More importantly, by far, is the fact that DeSantis went on TV most every night defending Trump from his various scandals.
Everybody knows this. Many articles were written about it. DeSantis was part of the “inner circle” defending Trump from Mueller.

So if Trump held DeSantis hostage over his endorsement, for even a second, after all the campaigning that DeSantis did for him, then Trump is a scumbag.
More likely, Trump gave him the endorsement without DeSantis even asking for it, much less crying his eyes out. But to lie about it now, as Trump is doing, would indicate Trump is a scumbag. So either, way, he’s a scumbag over when it comes to this issue.

So now Trump is throwing a tantrum because DeSantis hasn’t endorsed him. What a turn of events. It’s never a pretty sight when a titan falls.
Trump had nothing to lose but feel for what is needed to save our country!

This kind of whining and preening is making it easier for me to let go of the idea that our GOP nominee must be Donald Trump. He is sawing off his own branches of support, limb by limb. People know we don’t have to accept this and spend the next four years trying to rationalize corrosive, undisciplined behavior.
When Trump is good he is outstanding, when he’s ‘bad’ he’s distracting for attention and destructive to the Party. There is still time for Trump to change course and listen to advisors such as Kellyanne, such as Steve Bannon, who say focus on the present and future. Don’t be so self centered in your public speeches.
