Even if this were true, which it’s obviously not, it would only show Trump to be an ungracious scumbag, who was jealous of DeSantis, even before DeSantis become Governor, to make him even ask for the endorsement.
That is because DeSantis was a well known Florida Congressman before he ran for Governor. More importantly, by far, is the fact that DeSantis went on TV most every night defending Trump from his various scandals.
Everybody knows this. Many articles were written about it. DeSantis was part of the “inner circle” defending Trump from Mueller.

So if Trump held DeSantis hostage over his endorsement, for even a second, after all the campaigning that DeSantis did for him, then Trump is a scumbag.
More likely, Trump gave him the endorsement without DeSantis even asking for it, much less crying his eyes out. But to lie about it now, as Trump is doing, would indicate Trump is a scumbag. So either, way, he’s a scumbag over when it comes to this issue.
