Also how will Russia respond to this escalation?

If they are delivered to Kiev, Kiev will become a target. If they are driven from Poland to Lviv, Lviv will become a target. This is the escalation Biden/Germany are causing.

I hate to say it, but Russia would see attacking supply lines as legitimate. If the tanks came in from Poland, they could attack the convoys. Hopefully they would not escalate beyond that; but they’d also have to consider the response and where (territorially) in the supply line they would strike.

Russia can’t even stop what’s being delivered now. By what magic will they stop new deliveries?

“This is the escalation Biden/Germany are causing.”

Or Putin could recall his army of drunken savages back across the border into Russia and the whole thing ends.

So there’s that.

Yeah, because neither Kyiv nor Lviv have been targets up till now!

/mordant sarcasm

Putin has already been rocket-bombing civilian population centers all over the country.

All of these tanks must be delivered from???(Poland I assume) via rail to an assembly area in preparation for battle. Tanks on rail cars are very vulnerable these days with smart weapons and overhead surveillance platforms. This will not end up the way NATO is planning. They are foolishly diminishing their own stocks for the big one. Putin is just waiting for the time and the place to attack these systems.

I might ad, these M1A1 tanks are very sophisticated systems that require a lot of operator and gunnery training. They also require a lot of maintenance. Who will provide this maintenance and recovery operations in battle. Ukraine? I doubt it. Wait until the first US or NATO troop is captured and put on display. This is the beginning of WWIII. It will get ugly very fast.

My solution? Put all these M1A1s on the souther border and fight our own war. The Ukrainian regime is a corrupt democrat money laundering operation and it is not worth the devastation of WWIII.
