I’m sure Obama will testify he declassified any materials in Biden’s possession. Same as with H.Clinton.

But not more-classified documents than Snowden himself took, I bet.
He had described some of the hijinks he had witnessed or been a party to, after hours in the White House, on Air Force One, etc. He made reference to what he (IIRC) called "Washington's favorite game;" the name of this game was (again IIRC) "the rules don't apply to me." I believe another variant was "my name isn't mentioned in the regulation." Or law, rule, etc.
Having worked in government facilities before, I saw a little of this first hand.
Someone observes a person of senior rank (let's call him "X") do unthinkable thing "Y". Here "Y" can be anything — trivial and amusing, or very serious and potentially life-threatening — where "Y" is technically within the senior person "X's" scope of responsibility, but is outrageous or otherwise unbelievable.
Having witnessed the action of "X," sooner or later this low-ranking observer is in an unsupervised situation, and the opportunity to try out "Y" for himself arises.
This sort of thing really appeals to the kind of functional sociopaths that are attracted in large numbers to government service.
We human beings have faults and those in power are human beings for now at least.
I have no doubt that several previous presidents in the last 60 years probably had secret and highly classified documents at their homes and offices I doubt this is anything new, but none of that makes it right
Then, why hasn’t he said so I don’t believe he’s going to make a statement like that. He wants Biden out.
Obama will ride to the rescue when the time is right. But I am considering the notion that Biden’s days are numbered. “Progressives” ridding themselves of the senile old fool, but for whom?

All of DC is about maneuvering one’s career to where you “grab the brass ring” and become untouchable. I can’t wait until these people are deemed “golden pheasants”, which is what we called high value Nazis trying to flee, and they get the same.

If it’s grounds for a multi-agency armed assault on an ex-President’s household, common sense would say that it’s grounds for impeachment.
The goal is to get Mr. Biden to resign “for reasons of health” and not seek a second term of office. They believe they can control Harris better. The year 2023 will be the year of three US Presidents.
