A middle school teacher in New Jersey is facing multiple drug charges after allegedly overdosing on fentanyl in a classroom in November, the Westfield Police Department said.

School Resource Officer Fortunato Riga responded to the second-floor classroom, where a nurse was treating the teacher in front of students, and gave him Narcan, a medication that can reverse an opioid overdose.

If you still have your children in public school, do whatever it takes to get them out now. The child you save just may be your own!

I’d have to be on drugs to be a public middle school teacher.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

And I am sure that all the other teachers, administration and union that they were a wonderful person and nobody had anything bad to say about the teacher.

Well, the teacher sure provided the students a lesson on messing with fentanyl. As serial killer Aileen Wournos reportedly said, “If you can’t be a good example, at least be a horrible warning.”

Most houses in Westfield go for 7 figures these days. It’s a fairly upscale town.

I did it for 29 years without the help of drugs. I will say that parents were more impressed with my work after they hosted a party for their son or daughter and say a dozen their friends. I often had 30 in class all day.

But to your point—middle school is not easy on anyone; kids, teachers, or their parents.

Worst years of my life were grades 6-8. It didn’t help that I went to four different schools and three moves from grades 6-9.

When the kids are busy with drag queen story hour, that’s when you can slip away for a quick snort of heroin

Selflessly threw himself on the fentanyl so the kids wouldn’t be able to take it.
