Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk has publicly backed House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy to become Speaker of the House, using social media Thursday morning to offer his support.
Musk’s backing comes as McCarthy begins his third day of trying to garner enough votes to get the job, as Breitbart News reports.
Kevin McCarthy should be Speaker,” Musk tweeted in the early hours before another day of politics and diplomacy in Washington, DC.

McCarthy needs to step aside in favor of someone who can unify the party.

It looks like the “holdouts” are basically trying to hold McCarthy’s feet to the fire. Given his history, that’s not a bad idea.
Musk, understandably, was pretty much removed from US politics prior to buying Twitter. If he had ANY IDEA of what these Republican ‘leaders’ think of their voter base, he would have kept quiet.
Everyone deserves an opinion. So let the House GOP work it out, that’s what they are supposed to do.
Musk and Trump wrong on this one. McCarthy, Mcdaniels and McConnell oversaw a weak performance this past midterm giving minium support to conservative anti-swamp candidates.

2 people that built a portion of their fortunes on eminent domain and federal subsidies… shock that they know.. never bite the hand that puts cash in your bank account.
Musk is helping to expose the Deep State. Then he endorses a Deep Stater. I find that curious.
Oh, and replace “Musk” with “Trump” in the above comment. Same thing.
Musk has said that before this last election he had never voted Republican.
It’s not ideological with him, he’s admitted to not being that knowledgeable about politics.

My comment is about Musk alone. While he has represented himself as a friend to the people, he is actually a ringer and part of the global cabal.
And I am not going to put anyone on a pedestal as pure, righteous, perfect, and never wrong. Anyone who endorses McCarthy is WRONG and also endorsing our own demise at the hands of the global cabal.
No matter who it is... If they are wrong I am going to call it as such. They are not perfect, no one is...
