A man who catcalled a woman on a London street has become one of the first in the UK to be slapped with a £100 fine for sexual harassment after he was caught in an undercover police operation.
The offender - who was not named - was issued a fixed penalty notice for harassing a woman in Ilford town centre last Friday.

Reading the article gives a little more perspective on the sensational headline.
The law was originally passed to stop people soliciting sex in the streets. They are now using it to fine men who catcall women on the street.
Honestly, given the type of men who now loiter in the streets of European cities, this was inevitable. They welcome these men with open arms, this is what they get.
If this man were to claim to be a woman or a Muslim who was attracted because the woman in question was inappropriately attired, charges would most likely be dropped.
I think the man is most likely a migrant. My only proof of that is the article doesn’t mention the nationality of the offender. I think if it was a white UK citizen, they would have mentioned it.
All the while, pakistani muslims continue to rape white children all over the UK.
It's possible, of course, but I would be surprised if the police picked on a Muslim man because of his interaction with a woman.
I assure you, there are plenty of white catcallers/pimps/thugs in places where whites are the majority.

True, but the girls preyed on come mostly from lower or lower working class families. Middle and above Britons view the working class as garbage and always have. During Wilberforce’s long campaign against slavery he relentlessly opposed linking the cause of abolition with reform of living and working conditions of the ‘lower orders’. I admit it is disturbing to be in Birmingham and see young white girls , I mean young too as in 10-12 years old, stumbling around drunk on their behinds in the middle of the day. The only people I met who seemed to care about these lost waifs were called, with contempt, ‘street preachers’ who tried to get these children off the street and given simple but good meals and a wholesome ‘youth club’ environment to spend their days in. The same sort of classism was found to prevail in Finland where the same sort of scenario prevailed in which muzzards seduced very young Finnish girls . The girls preyed on again came from the ‘wrong side of the tracks’ and the very liberal Finnish women and men from the professional and upper middle classes considered them to be dog shit.
What is it with Europeans, especially Euro educated women who positively love the ignorant, violent, unemployable Pakistanis, Syrians, and Afghans they want more and more to live in their countries while embracing queerness and abortion on demand?
