Yes, it was Trump. And McConnell too.

Anyone who doesn’t believe Trump played a role in this defeat has their head in the sand.

Both need to go…

It no longer matters. The US has gone over the cliff and is becoming a combination of the CCP and East Germany. There is no path back short of unknown conflagration.

Yeah, let's throw a person who has been the only person to stand up to the GOPe, the Democrats, the media, and the Deep State and expose them all for being the frauds they are, then throw him under the bus because you have no clue as to what the heck you are talking about, and the loyalty of the GOPe to their nation and her citizens. Which is none at all.

You want to stand with a person who is in reality an unknown, be my guest, but you are not a very bright person.

For if you are willing to walk away from the person who started this movement in the first place, after he is attacked by the enemy, and yes, the GOPe is just as much of an enemy as are the Democrats. Neither love this nation, neither care about her citizens. Worse than that neither of them like freedom at all. They admire the control the CCP has over their citizens, especially after getting a taste of that much control they were able to exercise during the "plandemic".

They are the government that Benjamin Franklin was talking about, when he said if you can keep it. The two together conspire to win the elections to keep themselves safe to pillage & rape the citizens of this nation.

We know beyond the shadow of a doubt that Donald John Trump loves this nation. He had no reason to get involved in trying to save this nation. He had far more to lose than to gain by getting involved. Yet he did get involved because he was tired of seeing these people destroy this nation.

In return, people such as yourself pay that back with criticizing him for trying to do what is right because you do not have the brains to see what the heck is really going on here.

You think DeSantis is the savior, though we have no clue what his true motivations are. If they are sincere, then they will just do the same to him as they have Trump. If not, then he is not the savior you believe him to be. He becomes not only a liar, for he has stated many times that he will not run against Trump, which then exposes him as a fraud who is only trying to get on the inside of the power circle to enrich himself and his family.

No, you are indeed not a very bright person.

If we have are head in the sand, where do you think that makes your head buried in?

Trump is pure, perfect and blameless always and forever. He just happens to be surrounded by lesser beings such as EVERYONE ELSE in the GOP, who constantly work against him. That is the only logical explanation.

(Did I do that right?)

Trump did have a really big role in the underperformaing midterms: by winning the presidency mainly without and against both US and world elites, and by governing in many instances against their policies, he aroused them (and their functionaries including politicians and political machines of both US major political parties, the media, and people in all levels and types of government “service”) to greater action.

Getting the grass roots to dump Trump is a major short-term goal for the elites - “his kind must not rise again” - hence the virtually unison voice of US major media and their pundits excitedly blaming Trump for midterm underperformance (which all of them were hoping for anyway) and coining such terms as “Trump’s reverse Midas touch.”

“See, your champion has failed. Come back to us” they say.

Maybe the middle and lower classes who benefited during Trump’s term are swayed by this.

Maybe not.

Fact 1. 90% of Trump endorsed candidates just won their House races.

Fact 2. 60% of Trump endorsed candidates just won their Senate races.

Fact 3. The media will continue to write fake news because short of murder there is no way of stopping Trump in 2024 and they know it.

Everyone is working overtime trying to place blame on why Republican candidates didn't do better...the reality is, this country is slowly but steadily leaning more and more socialist.
The mouth-breathers want more government in their lives and are happy with the statist message democrats are providing.
