Hey pundits, experts, activists, and politicians, think you should listen to Dave Chapelle when it comes to ‘why Trump’.
He gets it.
It was the first time we’ve laughed at SNL in a long long long time.
Watch:
HE DOESN’T PAY HIS TAXES!
Because the system doesn’t make me pay my taxes … because it benefits your donors.
Love how he portrays Hillary Clinton, heh.
And also sad because it’s true BUT we all need a laugh right now.
[Missing tweets I failed to copy]
It always feels like the SNL audience isn’t sure if it’s ‘ok’ to laugh.
Weird, right?

Carlin was funny because he wasn’t afraid to be honest about people, the same can be said of Dave Chappelle. That, and he saw the ridiculousness of the world and wasn’t afraid to point and laugh.
Again, like Chappelle.
We need so much more of this, comedians who don’t pick sides, who DGAF, who just tell it like it is. Too many of us have forgotten that it’s ok to laugh at ourselves.

If he sounds pro Trump he’ll get destroyed so you have to throw something to the mob. What a sad country. All the talk about veterans fighting for freedom 60 years ago. Well, looks like in the end it may not have been worth the effort. All of those lives lost and now you aren’t allowed to like certain politicians. It probably doesn’t get better from here.
“Carlin was funny because he wasn’t afraid to be honest about people”
Because he only had the CENSORS to deal, with and not cancellation...
Love Chappelle, and my favorite is his Juicy Smoleyay bit.

Clayton Bigsby skit…
The sad irony odds is that lefties love squawking about tolerance, but don’t actually practice it themselves. So tell me who the fascists really are.

Follows up with Chapelle saying he’s a democrat and then more about Trump; “he was probably colluding with Russia”. Goes on to talk about Melania. What’s up with the documents at Trump’s house. Placating the leftist crowd likely. Goes on to Ukraine subject.

Absolutely true.
it was very good
Ok, that one wasn’t my cup of tea, but I do like the Juicy Smoleyay one.
Except for the fact that he still believes Russia was behind Trump getting elected. Dems will never let that go.
Read wiseprince’s post #2.
Dave,
A swing and a miss,,,
Same old crap , just with a laugh track added.
Many don't realize that one of the most iconic American comedians of the past often spoke about politics in a way that made people enjoy hearing about quite serious topics and think about them in a few words that were a direct hit. Will Rogers (1879-1935) was a Democrat of his time; but most of the political quotes he is remembered for apply profoundly today.
Garbage from Dave Chappelle, iow. Thanks Pollard.
