Good prediction -for US politics. But I’m focused more on Russia. It’s history is most fascinating to me.
The video presents a great tell. Remember his videos before the invasion bluffing ‘peace and tolerance’ right up to the day of attack? He gave a calm, cool, in control ‘I can be trusted’ presentation when the opposite was actually true. Almost a mirror image of this video.
The oil and gas money season is coming and Russia is getting <60% receipt on smuggling sales while other countries increase production. Is he going to return Russia to a command-directed economy? Of what, coal, porridge and buggies? I don’t see this being tolerated. A barter economy will put the Russians on the losing end of transactions draining the country of commercial value.
They see North Korea. I don’t think they want that. And they don’t want to ‘lose the Republics’ but that day is fast approaching. When they have enough troops to control them or money to buy them off they’ll be gone from Russia’s sphere of influence. Russia will likely prevent that from happening any way they can. Considering its resources its options are dwindling.
There is more than one way to end a war. You can take your football and go home or you can obliterate Kiev with a small nuke.

I think you are vastly overestimating Dems interest in Europe. They have very little. They’ve used Ukraine as a prop to attack Trump but in reality are fine doing business with Putin. America hating Dems have had common cause with the Kremlin for over a century. Recall the famous “reset” photo of Hillary and Lavrov? Dems want war on us and not Russia.
