Baking potatoes last week $1.99/lb

Seems I remember they were half that amount a year ago.

8.5% inflation my rear end.

I’d like to see a thread with a running tab on electric and gas bill rate increases this winter. I’m still paying a very reasonable price for electric. When will the other energy shoe drop on us?

I’m on the paleo diet as per my new surgeon until I get operated on.

Been months since I enjoyed Krispy Kreme sugar and lard.

Basics like meat and eggs and vegetables for me on what little I eat is obscene.

At least I have water…….

I liked to think I had a nice amount of savings for retirement. Now I realize these leftist scum have destroyed the value of our savings and earnings and put us all at further risk.

Yep, millions of people in the same boat.

We went grocery shopping a couple of days ago, and when Mrs. fidelis saw the price for a loaf of bread, she refused to buy it. Forget it, she said, we’ll go without.

Shamelessly quoting myself in this regard:

Here's an anecdote from [yesterday] re that 'progress':

Great Value (Walmart) frozen skinless Alaskan salmon that was $12 for eight nice filets about a month ago is now $15 for a bag of four.

I utterly detest the communist bastards behind this national catastrophe !

I bought $142.00 worth of stuff at the Tile store a couple days ago. I knew the price was high for what I got and I noticed a $15 Srchg for... get this... Transportation/Energy!! (Transportation/Energy Srchg = $15.00) ya think an extra $15 per sale on top of raised prices is a nice little cushion for them!???

Companies, many of them, are milking this on all 4 tits...

I wouldn’t want to eat eggs all the time, but I sure wouldn’t want to have to go with out them. They pack protein and fats and vitimins.

How big of a patch would you need for a couple of hens without having to buy feed?
