Sheriff's deputies in the Florida Keys seized 70 pounds of suspected cocaine that was discovered floating in the ocean on Tuesday, just days after another bale of narcotics was found offshore.
The Coast Guard originally spotted the drugs Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. and called the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies located nearly two dozen smaller packages with a green "100%" marking and turned them over to the U.S. Border Patrol.

The new Square Grouper.
While they’re tied up chasing random floating bales, a container ship is probably coming in unmolested…..like a loss leader on a Black Friday sale.
There was a true story on YouTube about an accountant-type guy who found something like $2M in cocaine and actually planned to try to sell it.
So he met with some shady characters and before he got too far, the FBI or someone police force grabbed him. He was lucky. The shady characters were interviewed on the show and made it clear they were never going to actually pay him for the coke, and it was also clear that he wasn’t going to live to talk about his one-time dealings.
I'm guessing the trafficker who fumbled 70 pounds of cocaine into the ocean is by now 100% deceased.
They’ll find him somewhere off the keys tomorrow.
A whole lot of hollywood weenies are not going to like this
Awww, bless their hearts. Now they’ll have to venture downtown to get some crack instead.

Ha,
That’s funny.
They killed Gus too? Man. Sometimes AMC shows these back to back. I should’ve taped them. i thought the “chicken man” was indestructible.
I got the entire show on DVD and binge watched it 6 months ago. Jesse,IIRC,lives.
Used to live I. Perry FL on the Gulf side. Bales of marijuana were always there. Called them Square Groupers.
The first Tuco was played by Eli Wallach in “the. good, the bad , and the ugly”’ he was a nasty character as well.
If I found something like that...I’d never see a straight day the rest of my life.
Yee-haw!
