Worth the read, judge is limiting defense cross examination time to the same as the prosecution used. Looks to me like a mistrial waiting to happen.

Shouldn’t the FBI be on trial for this operation? It has been proven to be their operation.

The American legal system is full of judges who ignore binding precedent from superior courts. When appellate courts address appeals they normally categorize such insubordination as “error” rather than “misconduct”. The prerogative writs, such as mandamus and prohibition, are rarely granted, and even when they are, never is the offending judge required to pay the costs as was the case at common law.

It doesn’t help that the “judge” is wearing a kangaroo suit under the robe.

It’s extremely important for the American people to remember that under state and federal law, Gretchen Whitmer is innocent until proven guilty.

Putting time limits on the defense cross examination in a serious criminal trial seems inappropriate.

Never heard of such a thing. Can a judge really set a time limit?

Happens all the time. Not unusual at all. Of course the judge needs to be even handed

The usual rule is that cross-examination is restricted by the scope of the direct examination and cannot be repetitious, but arbitrary time limits would deny due process.

Judge was appointed by George W. Bush

Robert "Little Bobby" Jonker. Another Dubya stooge.

Confirmed by voice vote, which means that all the Uniparty Senate stooges loved him.

So the prosecution gets done with crap-for-evidence in 15 minutes and that’s all the defense gets? Time for a new judge. Say, can those who were acquitted in this scam be called to the stand? Maybe da judge just got that memo.
