Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Thursday she is “ashamed” that Republicans are questioning the FBI’s credibility after it raided former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.
“I have been ashamed to hear members of my party attacking the integrity of the FBI agents involved with the recent Mar-a-Lago search,” she claimed. “These are sickening comments that put the lives of patriotic public servants at risk.”

LOL! Patriotic servants?? Patriotism isn’t blindly following orders that are politically motivated. Especially by someone who uses the power of his/her office and the resources of an agency to carry out a personal vendetta against someone or groups of people he/she disagrees with. aka: weaponizing government agencies against political opponents.
Patriotism IS NOT the realm of government servants, but a duty of due diligence by the ELECTORATE and any citizen to keep government in check, in line, subordinate, transparent and accountable. Government are employees of the people who must carry out their duties and responsibilities impartially... and call out those who abuse their powers and offices because ‘Government’(anyone employed in that capacity by the people) has a duty to report abuse and corruption as part of their compelling responsibility to their employer... THE PEOPLE.
Patriotism is questioning gov & actively being engaged in due-diligence against ANY gov usurpation/abuse. It is calling out the intentions of your public servants and their political opposition. To question their motives/loyalty… to examine their backgrounds, character, and ideology… holding them to the highest standards and make public servants accountable to their oath of office which is to defend and enforce the Constitution… or fire them! Patriotism is to stand by your country NOT government, its agents, its officials or their actions.
