Female inmates at a prison in Indiana have filed lawsuits alleging they were subjected to a "night of terror" when a guard sold keys to their cells to male prisoners who sexually assaulted them.
In a pair of lawsuits filed in U.S. District Court, a total of 28 women said they were attacked shortly after midnight on the night of October 23, 2021 at the Clark County jail in Jeffersonville.
The female prisoners accused a guard at the facility, David Lowe, of providing the key to the male inmates for $1,000.

I’m glad you pluralized “guards” because there is no way that only one guard turned his eyes away to let this happen. At a minimum, there would be one guard monitoring the male cell block, and a different guard monitoring the womens’ block. Likely there were a few guards in between as well, and they all have some serious explaining to do...
You’re not supposed to sell keys. You’re supposed to let the men in free.
I had to recheck where this took place. I thought maybe it was in El Salvador or someplace else. My God.

Now let me get this straight:
The female inmates are locked in their cells but the males are not?
I am guessing that it was not just the money. Perhaps the women inmates did something that the guards were annoyed by. Or failed to do something they wanted.
This will put a damper on the left’s ideals on homosexuality. Even in the place where they made their original determination, prison, there are still a number, 28 at least, that are heterosexual.
And I am not disappointed in the amount they had to pay. The only other place on the top of my head where a person can get paid $28K to shut his/her eyes is in congress. And they can vote themselves a raise.

But this is from CBS. Didn’t they tell us they don’t know what a female is? Maybe they just let the truth slip out.
Ah, so there is a difference between “Male” and “Female”! I guess none of the “Males” identified as “Females,” or they would have been declared innocent.
Ethnicity of the guards isn’t mentioned. I’m betting Amish.
David Lowe is a blond white guy.
Daily Mail article. Lowe claims he was duped and distracted by a prisoner feigning heart trouble, that he had worked 31 days straight, up to 20 hours a day, that no guards came to his assistance when he entered the pod, and that he confessed falsely, afraid of the interrogator.
Sherriff’s office seems to be saying that female inmates colluded, for a chance at a lawsuit.
Whichever way, really badly run jail.
The jail was featured in 60 Days In. Covid will have made staffing problems worse.
