In his first public appearance since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Associate Justice Samuel Alito got in a dig at some of the foreign leaders who criticized the historic opinion he authored.
"I had the honor this term of writing, I think, the only Supreme Court decision in the history of that institution that has been lambasted by a whole string of foreign leaders who felt perfectly fine commenting on American law," he said at a July 21 conference on religious liberty in Rome.
One, he said, in a light-hearted tone, was British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
"But he has paid the price," Alito said to laughter from the audience, alluding to Johnson's announcement of his resignation earlier this month.
The event was hosted by the University of Notre Dame Law School, which posted video of the speech Thursday night.
Other critics Alito mentioned were French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
"But what really wounded me was when the Duke of Sussex addressed the United Nations and seemed to compare the decision whose name may not be spoken with the Russian attack on Ukraine," Alito said, referring to Prince Harry.
"Well, despite this temptation I'm not going to talk about cases from other countries," he said.

It’s weird how the commie and Nazi RATS have convinced every female on the planet that the Supreme Court of THE UNITED STATES has taken away their rights to kill their babies. I guess that comes from the DNC toads in the “media” telling the freeriding freeloaders in Mexico, Central and South America that their U.S. Constitutional and civil rights begin when they walk out the door of their home and start pretending to walk ALL THE WAY to the U.S. to get their “free” stuff paid for by the U.S. citizens who “voluntarily” pay taxes so they won’t be thrown in prison.
When socialists and royalists hate you, it’s a good thing.

These foreign leaders seem so ballsy when criticizing the US, but don’t mind begging for help from Nazis or Russians. They throw our weight around then treat us like dogs.
Harry forgets we had a revolution so that anything Harry says doesn’t matter to US citizens.
And guess who won’t be getting any air drops or chopper assist when things go to 💩. Yup, us. All the places we aided wouldn’t pee on us if we were on fire.
I will bet that none of these world so called leaders ever read our Constitution.
