Overall, Russian natural gas exports have plummeted in half.

At far higher prices, giving Russia more money than they made before. That's what counts.

Why would the Chinese directly occupy natural resources they already control? The Chinese control mechanism, whether in Russia, Africa, or Asia, has been to become a dominant player economically. The Belt and Road Initiative is a strategy that has been used. Unlike the European powers, China has not sent their military into, say, Zimbabwe, as the British did two centuries ago. Economic control of key industries and paying key officials off works well for them.

Putin has essentially sold his country to the CCP. Perhaps elements in the Deep State, i.e. the Biden crime family, have done the same.

“At far higher prices, giving Russia more money than they made before. That’s what counts.”

That temporary condition is not all that counts.

Volume keeps dropping, and price is volatile - it will not stay around historic highs forever. In fact, the total revenue surge seems to have crested back in May, but the average for the first half of the year is still up.

The explicit plan, announced two weeks after Russia’s latest invasion, and fully funded by European authorities, is to fully replace Russian oil and gas imports (2/3rds of gas and 90% of oil by year’s end). That permanent reduction is well underway, and that matters in the mid to long term, more than short term price fluctuations.

Maybe so, but he is legendary in forecasting economic cycles….every sovereign nation has called upon him at one time or another to “ solve” their economic woes- few listened to his wisdom, instead they chose to “print, print and print” more currencies, piling up debt that is impossible to pay back…..and here we are- time to pay the Piper.

Prepare, ( visit his website for past and future dates, cycles, etc). 2023 will be interesting, world wide riots, food shortages, energy shortages, sovereign nations defaulting and falling - the first has just occurred - all leading up to the fall of the western financial system…by 2030 the world’s wealth will have shifted East…by the way, he did accurately predict 4-5 years ago Ukraine would be the start of a “ war cycle”….

Ha, Ha, Ha,…..I read Schroeder’s proposal, guess what, he is currently in Moscow negotiating with Vlad! That said, does taking OUR NG and shipping it to the EU ( currently being done) fix anything? No, it further cripples us, why is the West so committed to suicide?

REPEAL all anti-Russian sanctions, and tell Zelensky to negotiate!!!!
———
Not to worry, the calls for Zelensky’s ouster are stirring, getting louder from the EU ( especially Germany) as the cold weather approaches the EU. Their ( Germany) energy hack is currently in Moscow “ negotiating “. They are breaking ranks- asking your citizens to freeze over winter and shut down your manufacturing industry is suicidal.

Also making EU social sites is the mention of Poland preparing 20,000 Peacekeeping troops to deploy to their old Territories in Ukraine. Time will tell.

I can’t say I am excited about the Post War carving up of Ukraine, but…I am. I would just be satisfied with a Ukie regime change, one that cares about their population….the corrupted beggar Zelensky is demilitarizing his own country….and with that, Vlad says checkmate- again.

China will just buy kleptocratic Russia like they buy Russian women now. You can always find a Russian bandit who will sell out his country for a few dollars.

Earlier this year the Chinese moved a bunch of PLA units into so-called Ghost Cities in Heilongjiang and there’s no indication that they’ve departed.

>Where is Heilongjiang? on the Siberian-Chinese border?

“Schroeder’s proposal, guess what, he is currently in Moscow negotiating with Vlad!”

Gerhard Schroeder does not represent the German Government. After retiring from Government, he has been working for the Russians ever since (Gazprom). He is paid to use his connections and influence to promote Russian interests and policies.

The policy to reduce EU imports of Russian oil and gas comes from the EU, not Schroeder, and has been ratified by many European National leaders and legislatures, including Olaf Scholz, the actual current Chancellor of Germany, as well as the Bundestag.

Schroeder is just a private citizen. He doesn’t negotiate with Vlad, he takes orders from him, and provides information to him, for pay.

“does taking OUR NG and shipping it to the EU ( currently being done) fix anything?”

It makes us money. In fact, we became the world’s largest exporter of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) in the world in the first half of 2022. We are on track for double digit growth in LNG exports next year. All at the expense of Russia’s former market share and revenue. Better that Americans make that money.

At the expense of the US citizens? We are now paying 100 percent more for NG, now $8, February $4. The US citizen is getting fleeced. Shipping our NG to the EU is screwing the US consumer. Keeping our NG here would guarantee much, much lower US consumer prices.

As for Schroeder negotiating in Moscow, he represents the German manufacturing industry privately, hired by corporations, they know their government is hell bent on shutting them down over Biden’s clown war. They are not happy going bankrupt supporting the suicidal sanctions.. Sending an “ official” German government sanctioned rep to Moscow would admit their sanctions policy is failed and would expose their folly.

Yeah, so no one is falling for Russia’s line, that Germany should stay dependent on Russian gas, and the USA should not take that market share for the long term.

All the Governments involved are clear on the reasons, and committed to seeing it through - including enduring the inconveniences and paying high costs this Winter.

Putin has fatally wounded the goose that laid the golden eggs. It is dying slowly, before our eyes

Not only are folks not falling for the FSB “Surrender Dorothy - Resistance is Futile” appeal, but Russia also seems headed for official designation as a State Sponsor of terrorism, joining only four other pariahs, on its fast track to becoming Greater North Korea. The Senate approved a resolution today 100-0. The House has a stricter proposal that will probably com up soon (sponsored by Ted Lieu).

Power of Siberia pipeline has ZERO to do with Russian gas going to Europe. It has no effect on Putin’s gas flow to Europe. It was built for gas transmissions from a Rus gas field 2500 miles north of the Chinese border.

.”The deal has become so lucrative that Beijing and Moscow created a second pipeline – the Power of Siberia 2.

Bullshit. This PoS #2 pipeline will commence construction in 2024 according to FR poster NorseViking who is Russian actually. So--- PoS #2 is still on the drawing boards.

Gerhard Schroeder is probably very important in the hierarchy of Germans who got Germany hooked on “cheap” Russian gas, and building 10 billion dollar pipelines such as Nordstream #2. Undoubtedly Gerhard Schroeder got very wealthy doing this, as did other Germans. They sold out Germany.

Also stupid evil German Greenies get lots of the blame. They hate coal and nuclear, but will accept Russian gas. Relatively speaking

Right you are. The one existing gas pipeline to China, comes from a Rus gas field too far East from Europe. This gas was always going to go to China. And it terminates in Northern China where this natural gas cannot help the Chinese manufacturing regions of Guandong, Shenzhen, etc.

I doubt the Chinese have much of an internal natural gas distribution network via pipelines.

Wake up, it only illustrates Russia will continue to rake in the Rubles selling their
NG and oil to China, India, and a host of other willing buyers. They don’t need the EU to buy their goods, there are plenty of other buyers.
