President Biden is being "overly cautious in this moment,” said one progressive advocate. “We want to see imagination. We want to see creativity. We want to see something.”

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court’s elimination of Roe v. Wade has sparked tension inside the Democratic Party about how to channel the backlash in response to the unpopular ruling, with some liberals frustrated by what they perceive to be an overly cautious approach by President Joe Biden.
The division also points to a larger political disagreement among Democrats about how to mobilize voters in the 2022 midterm elections. While Biden and some party leaders prefer to tread carefully to avoid overreaching, other Democrats and advocates want the party to be more aggressive and test the boundaries of executive action to demonstrate to voters that they're fighting.
“I’m very disturbed — although it is completely understandable — as I’m talking to young women in particular in my district, who are in a place of detached acceptance and resignation,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., told NBC News. “It is really important that they see us fight, that they see us exhausting every tool available to us — in order to restore their faith in their leaders and these institutions.”
“There is a tremendous sense of — and I share it — betrayal, anger, fear,” she said. “The one emotion I won’t allow myself to have is to be paralyzed.”
Behind the scenes there is tension among Democrats, as reflected by the lingering differences despite having nearly two months since the leaked draft to unify behind a response to the 6 to 3 ruling.

Asked why she wrote “not yet a human”, she said it was “because everyone is talking about murder”. “And it’s just – it’s me, it’s not somebody else yet,” she said. “I have a child. This is a person, this is a person with will, this is a person who has decision-making power, and this is me.”

The provocative protest has generated heated discussion after images of Ms Herring went viral on social media. The photo has attracted more than 13,500 comments on Reddit, with a number of pro-choice advocates describing it as “disturbing”.
“Ya, this is not going to help the pro-choice community, this is exactly what pro-lifers are concerned about,” one person said.
Another agreed, “Whether you are pro-life or pro-choice I don’t know how someone that far along can deny that they have a human being inside them.”

A third wrote, “Yeah, no kidding. I don’t get it. Abortions at the stage she’s at are virtually unheard of and premature births in the mid-third trimester are not uncommon. It’s really uncomfortable when someone makes a straw man of themselves in support of a generally valid argument.”
A fourth said, “Also pro-choice. Also disturbed AF to see this. No one wants to kill actual babies over here.”
So....Why did NBC use this photo?
In other words, “our supporters are not rioting as much as we wanted and expected them to”.
“not yet a human” - then, what is it? Animal, vegetable or mineral?
these people are insane.
Anybody who wants to kill a baby at that point is inhuman so it fits.
Ha! Try touching a Sea Turtle egg and find out whether the courts believe its a turtle yet......

Perhaps she’s referring to herself
‘”... I’m talking to young women in particular in my district, who are in a place of detached acceptance and resignation,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., told NBC News’
Well, you know, you could just tell them: “YOU LIVE IN MASSACHUSETTS... NOBODY IS OUTLAWING ABORTION IN MASSACHUSETTS, IDIOT”.
That’s actually a tattoo! She had it put on her abdomen 14 YEARS AGO.
From the article: “as I’m talking to young women in particular in my district, who are in a place of detached acceptance and resignation,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass.
Massachusetts allows abortion up to 24 weeks and after 24 weeks if the mothers’ life or “mental health” is at stake.
Why is anyone in Massachusetts worried about their “abortion” rights?
Beat me by a minute...but your response was better...
Then what it is? And no, it's not just you.
FYI: The U.S. Supreme Court, in correcting the numerous errors of Roe vs. Wade (1973), and Casey vs. Planned Parenthood (1992), IN NO WAY banned the ghoulish practice of abortion. What the Supremes ACTUALLY did, legally speaking, is to return the power to LEGISLATE abortion regulations to the STATES, where the PEOPLE can vote on it. Thus, the decision was strongly pro-democracy and pro-freedom.
Isn't that kind of irrelevant? Look at the message that rational, sane Americans got from it, it's along the lines of "OMG, that woman is a complete whack-job and that's the thinking of Democrats???"
Who in their right mind would want to be associated with that woman in the picture, the message she sent with it, and the Democrat Party?
NBC did rational, sane, good & decent people in this country a favor by exposing that kind of evil right there.
probably just came from her “gender reveal” party for her NOT YET A HUMAN!
Sick and messed up.
However, most pro-abortion people, from the data I've reviewed, are fine with it happening in the first stimester, but get squeamish at talk of the second trimester. Third trimester abortion, to them, is off the table.
Pictures like this one likely frustrates the pro-abortion lobby because it makes them look like soulless ghouls.
Which is why I don't understand the motivation for NBC publishing this pic.
