Joe Walsh is a washed-up Illinois politician and a chameleon. He's gone from being a liberal Republican to a hardcore Tea Partier and ardent Trump supporter, to becoming so fiercely anti-Trump that in addition to voting for Joe Biden in 2020, Walsh even announced, as our Tim Graham has noted, that he would vote for a "socialist" over Trump.
So why does CNN regularly invite this loudmouth non-entity onto its air? Because he can be counted on to trash Republicans. On this morning's New Day, co-host Brianna Keilar interviewed Walsh regarding a controversial TV ad from Eric Greitens, who is seeking the Republican nomination for US senator from Missouri.
It's an appalling take after several years of political violence. But Walsh exploited Greitens' misdeed to smear Republicans as a whole. Asked by Keilar whether the ad would hurt Greitens with Republican primary voters, Walsh insisted that it wouldn't, and to the contrary, would actually help him. Why? Because:
"Most Republican voters . . . want their political opponents destroyed or killed."

It is the Republicans that are in jail from jan 6. THEY are the political prisoners. All dems, like the Colbert INSURRECTION of June 16 were released from jail. Repubs and Trump supporters are thrown in jail and the keys are thrown away.

What a nutcase. It’s clearly been the Left that doesn’t believe people have the right to exist who disagree with them. Has he noticed the vandalism and bombings of pregnancy centers? Is CNN as upset about that as they are a stupid ad (not an actual act of violence)?

This is why CNN will fail - pretending to be fair won't work.
CNN needs to clean house - dump half their newsroom - and replace that half with conservative journalists. CNN's lost if they feel people who hate conservatives can be fair or even pretend they're fair. It won't work and will just delay the network failing. Rip off the band aid.
