California Governor Gavin Newsom tried to reframe the political narrative on crime Saturday, claiming that America has a “red state murder problem,” rather than a problem of homicide in Democrat-controlled cities across the nation.
Newsom was speaking with Elex Michaelson, host of The Issue Is podcast, on the occasion of the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles. He claimed the media had inflated the broader significance of the recall of San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin.

I agree that not only will Newsom run for President in 2024, he likely will win. After all, Joe Biden “won.” Newsom is so much “better”—a slick talker, handsome, will say CA has a huge surplus (which it does as we’re overtaxed).
I’m a realist, but as I’ve lived in CA’s one party state for many years, I’m used to Newsom and all associated leftist horrors. Everyone else: brace yourself!
He’s just like Pelosi always putting their shoes on Republicans for obvious reasons....they never take responsibility. It’s either Republicans, Trump, or Putin - never themselves.

Gavin Newsom needs to look at where the crime is - it’s in blue cities in red states.
