Wait a minute, a school district has a police force? That includes a police chief?
For the most part, people in government will go out of their way to protect one of their own. It used to be a government employee would have to really blow it before being terminated, nowadays? Well, look at this!
Imagine being in a private sector work place, where a foreman totally screwed up and got 20 people killed on the job due to his neglect and poor decision making. And then he’s given another lucrative position, one where decision making skills are critical to the whole community.
What a flipping joke.
My question is: What the hell good is this so-called police chief? Could you count on him to rescue you from a home invasion? Every damn one of the school board members should be removed - along with this COWARD!

The Uvalde school police department has six officers. Notice that Chief Arredondo has four stars on each shoulder, the same as a big-city chief who commands thousands of officers.

The voters need to elect a school board that actually cares about the students in its care. And the parents should sue the board members and chief individually. If this were in Florida DeSantis would have taken whatever action he could. How about Abbott? .
