“An error by a company that prints ballots for several Pennsylvania counties made thousands of mail-in ballots unreadable Tuesday as voters were deciding hotly contested primaries for governor and U.S. Senate in one of the nation’s most important battleground states,” PBS reported.
“Officials in Lancaster County, the state’s sixth most populous, said the problem involved at least 21,000 mailed ballots, only a third of which were scanning properly,” the report stated. “The glitch will force election workers to redo ballots that can’t be read by the machine, a laborious process expected to take several days. Officials in the GOP-controlled county pledged that all the ballots will be counted eventually.”
“Citizens deserve to have accurate results from elections and they deserve to have them on election night, not days later,” Josh Parsons, a Republican and vice chair of the county board of commissioners, said at a news conference. “But because of this, we’re not going to have final election results from these mail ballots for probably several days, so that is very, very frustrating to us.”
“The Lancaster Board of Elections, of which Parsons is a member, renewed its criticism of a 2019 state voting law that expanded mail-in balloting but prevented counties from opening mailed ballots before Election Day to check for errors,” the report continued.

As long as we have RCV and RCV-enabled voting machines, even if every voter is a legal voter, Deep State can STILL steal elections.

They create a state of confusion. They use the confusion to accomplish what they intended to while their enemies are trying to see through the fog of confusion.
They do it every time, and conservatives fail to understand their tactics, every time.
They will be hand counted...by Deminrat operatives and they’ll get the “correct” result.
All part of the plan.
And the Pa Supreme Dourt judges are smiling knowing they get to dismiss another case due to, standing.
People have been voting since the time of the ancient Greeks. It is surprising that we still cannot get it right.
But maybe it’s not so surprising after all.
Just get the machines to print new ballots with the correct candidates marked. Problem solved.
The real problem was that we allowed exceptions to the rules that worked.
We used to have an election day. You went to the polls and voted on that day. The votes were counted and we pretty much knew who won later that night. We allowed all this early voting, voting without proving registration, mail in voting, online voting, vote harvesting, rank choice voting.
The exceptions were overseas or military. Old people with absentee voting. If a person really wanted to vote, they made sure they are registered and showed up election day. Otherwise you didn’t vote. It was your responsibility to make sure you get to vote.
The counting of the votes is another whole disaster of exceptions to the rules that worked.

How do allow people whom will be out of the voting location to vote? I agree that mail ballots need to be reviewed and changes made to the process that will allow the mail ballots.

They could have had a set of test ballots printed to check for errors. Why didn’t they?
