Everyone still disagrees on the value of masks, lockdowns and social distancing. So I doubt we have learned what you want us to learn.

And the next disease will almost certainly be different. So the value of masks, lockdowns and social distancing will likely be different. And you can count on people disagreeing about that when the next one hits too. Some will point to what they believe were the outcomes of covid measures. Others will point to the attributes of the new disease. It will be a jumbled mess.

What I hope we've learned is

I had a close family member tell me F...U! She asked me if I was scared of Covid and I said no. That’s all I said. Sigh.
She is in Med School so thinks she knows anything medical.
Fear is a powerful motivator. She ended up with a blood clot.

Another member yelled at me when I stated that I have Ivermectin and HCQ. HORSE PASTE! She said You’re not a micro-biologist, I am. I think I know more about vaccines than you do! Sigh. She now has a fibroid tumor growing on her uterus.

‘They don’t believe in God...But they “believe” very strongly in acid rain, the coming ice age, global warming, climate change, ozone holes, Covid, gay genes, peak oil...’

‘they’, eh...? I, and tens of thousands like me, do not believe in supernatural beings, and at the same time do not believe in those other things you accuse ‘them’ of believing...

How do you account for us in your broad brushstroke world...?

A friend was unemployed and got government cheese. I ate a slice and it was the best tasting cheese I have ever eaten. It made me wonder who processed it because I would love to buy some. I’ve yet to find a cheese even close to that flavor.

Prediction: NO, the Covidians will NEVER learn. They will do WHATEVER the TV tells them to do: wear underwear on their faces, stay home all the time and order food delivered, stop going to church, shut down businesses, etc, etc.

Yeah, I didn’t either. Didn’t lock down, didn’t wear the mask (quit a church over it, resigning an ordination), didn’t take ANY of the jabs. And STILL WON’T, even though my wife almost DIED of the Chinese virus.

My liberal spouse would say either “Ignorance is bliss”, or call you an aswhole.

She is never wrong. She’ll tell you so.. …

Doesn’t this reporter know we are about to hand over our sovereignty to the WHO?

Learn? What to learn?

The US government is more corrupt than the Ukrainian government.

We all knew from day one the whole thing was a hoax.

I was amazed how elected officials went from zero to fascist in one day. Makes one wonder if the whole scare/lockdown/mask/jab mandate/ thing was the implementation of a pre-established plan.

We should go back to commodities and get rid of the EBT crap. Less fraud and we know people are eating the food. Give our great farmers more work as well.

You have to give these Cretans cred they have managed to control these weak minds into following anything. I still see people with masks on, husband and wife in cars with their windows rolled up. We all have family member’s that are still talking the talking points at nausea,

“I’m vaxxed three times and even though I got covid twice I’m glad I got vaxxed otherwise I might not be here”

EVERYONE “believes,” even if your name is Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan, Karl Marx, or Xi Jingping.

The most basic questions cannot be answered without a “belief” ultimately.

You simply choose to “believe” in a world without a God and put your faith elsewhere, usually man made junk that often (after many years of scientific discovery) ends up mirroring the Bible: The Big Bang- in the beginning there was light (even before there was matter), the earth was without form, and after it formed you had the the seas, then plants, then animals... Or wait, is that Genesis? Not bad for a bunch of non-college educated sheep herders and fishermen.

But you are completely correct in thinking that you sound much more educated, possibly more ethical (inclusion) and definitely more sophisticated if you lay your belief in solid proven facts like evolution (based on 5 assumptions, not reproducible, and inconsistent with what we see in nature; i.e. mutations lead to negative outcomes and all we are really seeing is extinction). In Western culture today, it sounds smart to be critical of one belief system but entirely open eyed believing in the other. The only problem is, that one is consistent, the other not. One is based on a doctrine, the other a bunch of incompatible, relativistic ideas that are thrown together and do not complete the puzzle.

I'm not saying you believe in God.

I am saying you believe in something.
