School districts are embroiled in a battle over whether to teach children from kindergarten to third grade about being transgender. Advocates recommend teachers read their young students "Introducing Teddy," a book about a boy teddy bear who transitions to be a girl, calling it a heart-warming story "about being true to yourself."
Trans advocates make changing genders sound like a cakewalk. It's easier for teddy bears than for people.
For honest answers on what belongs in public schools, follow the science and the U.S. Constitution.
First, the science: A staggering 99% plus of the population do not have the physical traits that cause someone to become transgender. People with gender dysphoria -- a condition that causes extreme distress -- deserve empathy and respect. But only 0.6% of the adult population have it, according to UCLA's Williams Institute, an LGBTQ advocacy group.
A classroom lesson proposed for New Jersey 6-year-olds called "Pink, Blue and Purple" says children should be taught that "You might feel like you're a girl even if you have body parts that some people might tell you are 'boy' parts ... No matter how you feel, you're perfectly normal."
Normal, no. It is a rare condition. Most gender dysphoria manifests in early childhood, according to a 2020 study at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, so guidance counselors and teachers should be trained to offer families help. But there's no reason to incorporate it into the curriculum, inviting children to choose their pronouns and confusing the 99% who don't have the condition.

Why stop at the third grade? I don’t recall any any kind of health (including human reproduction) or human biology class until the 7th grade, which is around the time most boys and girls enter puberty.
Combine these powerful arguments with ‘Bonds for the Win’, and you got something.
Transgenders are less than one percent of the US population and yet want to tell the rest of the country to bow down to their demands. I vote to send them to Iran and receive the treatment they deserve.
The remedy is simple.
Go after the Board of Education executive and drive her out of town.

There is no transgender.
There is homosexuality and cross dressing, or transvestite. Transgender is a myth perpetuated by perverts. It is not normal, it is very harmful to adults, and unspeakably sinful to introduce to children.
We must drive these “transgender” perverts completely out of our schools and out of our society.
One of DD’s friends has a baby who is part of the less than 1 percent that is “intersex.” This is not a cause for joy. It seems like the trans people are almost mocking families like theirs.
All existing public school teachers must be removed from their positions and put on trial for crimes against humanity.
Those acquitted may return to work along side the (non-union) replacement teachers, and the others must be executed.
Likewise principals, administrators, any health care professionals involved, etc.
Homosexuals are treated like transgenders in Iran. They would probably like it
The United States is being governed by half a brain and that half brain has been given to the ruler of hell.
What else could bring people to such stupidity.
What in the world is so important you spread your sick world onto the youth.. Little children.
You do that to a grandchild of mine and you’ll end up in court.
There was a time.. When people cared.. A sick mind trying to “educate” youth would be run out of town.

I thought Muslims detested homosexuals. In fact, wasn’t it Iran where thy throwing them off multistory buildings?
There is no reason to teach about “transsexual” issues in school. People with gender dysphoria should get help. But why the need to force feed these discussions on the 99.4% of us who don’t have gender dysphoria? And why the need to talk about any of this with prepubescent children?
Much simpler to realize the entire public education system has been broken and operating on a socialistic scale for well over six decades. This is the end result.
There are zero “good” public school systems.

1) Nothing belongs in a government school. They should be shut down. Vouchers for all.
2) The Constitution has nothing to say about government schools.
3) ALL ( yes, all) government schools violate free speech, free assembly, free press, and religious expression. The religion taught in government schools is a godless secularism. Secularism is NOT religiously neutral.
4) It is impossible for education to be religiously, politically, or culturally neutral. Such a state of philosophic neutrality in the mind of any sentient human is impossible!
Yes, homosexuality is a crime. The Iranians say homos are acrually women, hence the transgenderism is the cure.

Grooming, pure and simple. Get them confused at an early age, take advantage of their confusion.
I also think the rise in transgender acceptance is due to money. Therapists specializing in transgender kids are little more than hucksters with every kid brought to their door by over reactive parents is diagnosed as having gender dysphoria and needing extensive therapy. Less than ethical physicians and surgeons are also glad to give hormone treatments and mutilating surgeries for money without any concern about the long term consequences for these patients.
