During an interview aired on Friday’s edition of PBS’ “Firing Line,” Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) said he is part of the problem of Supreme Court confirmations becoming more partisan, the information he has seen “strongly suggests” Justice Clarence Thomas should recuse himself from cases related to January 6, and that Thomas’ case is different from other spousal conflicts because it “goes so centrally to the heart of democracy.”

The SCOTUS ain’t the Make-a-Wish Foundation. No one cares what Coons wants. Neither he nor anyone else has the authority to make Clarence Thomas recuse himself from anything.

So the democrats already control the majority of judges. Barrett, Kav, Roberts, Kagan, Sotomayor, and Brown will all obey their orders. Why do they care about Thomas?

Well, Chris, you can TRY to have him impeached, but short of that, you’re stuck with his choice as to whether to participate.
Thomas isn’t going anywhere.
But she won't... so why should he? Furthermore, Ginni Thomas is a private citizen with rights of any private citizen. Thomas' decisions will not take his wife into consideration.
She should recuse himself no more than that KBJ will for cases involving ‘trans’ whatevers. Can’t define what a woman is? Not a biologist? RECUSE, woman.....

Chris Coons’ comments have no credibility regardless of which end they come out of.
They are extremely concerned that any of the January 6 cases are going to SCOTUS. Am I missing something? Are there cases moving in that direction or at the appellate level?
January 6 was no different than the MI plot to not kidnap and not kill governor Bitchmer. An FBI plot.

A better approach would be for that slimeball Coons to recuse himself from life. Among all the democrat slimeballs in Congress, Coons is right up there at the top. Has zero ethics, zero honesty and zero redeaming value.
