Wow, I feel so much safer now.
But he and siccer moms will feel so good about themselves !
So just order them through the mail?
This is no more, and no less, an infringement than: Books having more than 10 pages should be banned. Religious organizations having more than 10 members should be banned. Public speeches having more than 10 words should be banned. Public assemblies having more than 10 participants should be banned.
If you’re not ok with those, you shouldn’t be ok with magazine bans >10 capacity.
The latest SCOTUS nominee would ban all magazines that had more than ten circles in it!
Wow, so it sounds like large capacity magazines will make great GIFTS from out of state friends and relatives.
It will make libs feel better about themselves and, also, create a huge black market.
Wow, just a week ago Democrats and Republicans were cheering the Ukrainian government for handing out AK-74’s to civilians. If it is such a wonderful idea to do so then why can’t Americans have the same?
Wheel guns, 1911’s and shotguns. Wife just pointed out single stack pistols as i was typing. I love that girl!!!
My 30 round magazines identify as 10 round mags.
Welcome to Maryland!
Idaho and Montana gun dealers will reap the rewards of this socialist dictate.
Hopefully the Duncan v. Becerra appeal is accepted by the Supreme Court and the 9th Circuit en banc is overturned, which would nullify this law (and all magazine capacity laws nationwide.)
Because “guns” kill, not people do it... that term “gun violence”. Not robbers violence or BLM violence. Just “automated robotic” guns do ut.
So I go get my magazines next state over....
WI says I can’t buy Refrigerant for my car’s A/C unless I’m licensed by the state too... meanwhile next state over its an on the shelf item at any auto store.
I found the above amusing, in a state where I can possibly freeze my nads off, just going outside 6 months of the year, the state doest trust me not to harm myself by handling refrigerant.
not long from now, they’ll add a simple, single word to the bill as a revision to the shall not = “possess”.
This bill stops short for now, but it is just part of the incremental process.
At least there is a work around for the normal people left in Washington.
The courts already said this is unconstitutional in CA. But WA figures it doesn’t apply to them.
How can one tell when a citizen first owned an accessory for a fire arm? Are all the magazines in the state registered? So Walter over here is 35 years old and has .40 caliber semi-auto handgun with a 12 round magazine in it. He is questioned about it and says, “That’s grandfathered. I owned it before the ban went into place.”
How would they know different?
What if I move to Washington next year and I bring my tools with me? How do they police that?
This is a symbolic, incremental, political base appeasement measure.
So give them away with the purchase of a gun or ammunition.
