Why weren’t the women and children supposedly at this hospital evacuated well ahead of time?

Wasn’t there repeated attempts to establish humanitarian corridors in Mariupol?

Why are Azov hiding in schools and hospitals and refusing to let the civilian population leave?

Why did Azov mine the roads leading to evacuation routes?

They’re disruptors on threads....preventing reasonable discussions on what’s going on in this conflict.

Lots of hospitals in Dresden, Hamburg, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki.

War is really bad. It’s not Grenada or Panama. And when you have the right ROE to achieve victory, innocents suffer and innocents die.

Now, IF the Russian forces said, “Oh, there’s a hospital! Let’s blow it up”, that should be investigated by their command structure and compensation paid as appropriate.

But if an area was being shelled to end the war faster while achieving Russian objectives, and a hospital (among other structures) was damaged and people were killed? That’s why war is really bad.

Mariupol has been and is a hot bed of the Azor group.....anyone that’s followed this conflict now and in the past in Ukraine are aware of it. ..and yes there were corridors for people to leave but they were prevented from leaving by this group.
They are brutal nasty players without question.

Unfortunately it’s difficult to post and report on the threads, as you know. So unlike when I was doing so at the Maidan I’ve refrained from doing much of that this time around. But I am equally as involved in finding what’s true and not.

considering all the non-military targets Russia has been
bombing, I would go with the latter.

What was really sickening was the armored vehicle that lit up
a stopped car with two elderly people in it. Yep, blood thirsty.

My level of skepticism is high on this bombing. Attacking helpless babies and their mothers has been used as propaganda against enemies for. a long time, e.g. against Germany in 1914 and against Iraq in 1991, both falsely. However, there have been cases in history of abuses of babies and children: on the American frontier by the Indians, in China by the Japanese, and during the Holocaust by the Nazis.

Given other lies spread by the American and British press, e.g., recycling pictures from a few years ago as happening currently, the default position is distrust.

Trump did a lot of blustering but he was anything but weak - the Russians are aggressors but not idiots. Way back during their troop buildup on Ukraine’s border, Trump would have engaged Putin and mediated a deescalation.

Trump was not responsible for idiot Democrat provocations or the Republican adventurisms and he knows how to deal.

Damn shame we were cheated out of the one guy who could have defused this mess.

Agree. One only needs to remember how Donald Trump faced down the Rocket Man in North Korea.

I have no doubt that Trump would not have been able to convince Putin that invading Ukraine would be a bad idea.

During a shooting war, it is never easy to isolate vulnerable places like hospitals. When we use B-52’s for carpet bombing, there are no exceptions.

Actually very few died in what could have been catastrophic deaths at the hospital had it been in full operation.

I have no doubt the Russians probably shelled the hospital as it’s a war zone after all. I doubt they did so intentionally and it was a misfire/mistarget of sorts.

Offensively shelling a hospital in a war zone makes zero tactical sense. They are far too valuable intact. And we know the noble, saintly Ukrainian army would never place military assets within (or on top) of a hospital to draw fire. Only Russian dogs would do that.

It might make sense for a retreating army to destroy hospitals only to deny the enemy their use.

It is entirely possible that *ALL* of the following are true:

-Our current President is unaware of much of what is going on and the real situation is under control of globalist NWO freaks anxious for the Great Reset

-Putin is a piece of crap (although at least at one time a very bright, realistic, patriotic, and focused one) cut from the same cloth as Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, and Lenin.

-Russia had control of Ukraine and the Crimea, regards it as still part of Russia.

-The government of Ukraine is corrupt despite any and all efforts to clean it up, the corruption runs deep.

-There are neo-nazi groups in Ukraine, founded in opposition to Stalin but still alive and nasty

-Zelensky might or might not have been put in as a puppet, but he is rising to the occasion as few leaders have in history.

-There are good people in Ukraine who do NOT want to be nor should they be subject to the rule of Russians, despite how the Russians feel about it.

-Both sides are fighting a propaganda war as much as a shooting one

-Germany and France are willing to fight to the last Ukrainian drop of blood and U.S. Dollar.

-China is going to optimize their outcome from this without any regard to anything other than the good of China.

-Our media is not so much corrupt (although they are that) as in the business of selling eyeballs, and war sells.

-People in the Democratic party will support this war because .. Biden. Some people in the Republican party will oppose this war because ... Biden.

Mariupol. Direct strike of Russian troops at the maternity hospital. People, children are under the wreckage. Atrocity! How much longer will the world be an accomplice ignoring terror? Close the sky right now! Stop the killings! You have power but you seem to be losing humanity.
