True enough and certainly true at high dosages, however, I’d venture to say that most people probably don’t get as much iodine as they should, so there is room for some supplementation. Our medical system wants to sell you thyroid meds for the rest of your life, so supplementing iodine isn’t spoken about much unless it’s to say...ZOMG danger!
Can you get it in a paste form at the feed store?
Need to get before the democrats ban it. By the way, are doctors allowed to prescribe Ivermectin or HCL yet?

CVS had an oral solution. I just ordered some tablets from Walmart.

I have a whole bottle of povidone iodine I use for a mouth rinse. Curious if that can be taken in a diluted form.

I don’t know one way or the other if iodide pills help protect you in a nuclear fallout, I see a lot of people jumping on the band wagon buying them thinking the USA could be nuked.
Could it happen, absolutely it could, could iodide pills help you survive, I’m not sure of that, personally if I am really close to the blast zone, who cares, I would rather be vaporized instead of suffering a slow painful death from radiation poisoning.
All the prepping in the world won’t help you if a nuclear warhead detonates near you, so I don’t worry about something I can’t control, if I live remotely and might survive the initial blast and fallout, then we might have another story.

I read the article, I didn’t see anything about people over 40 being “affected” by KI. It just said they don’t need it and didn’t say why. Seems odd that over-40’s, particularly the more elderly, would not need it.
