Pictures have emerged from the streets of Ukraine showing the smouldering wrecks of Russian tanks destroyed amid brutal urban fighting as Putin's invasion of his neighbour continues.
Huge convoys of Russian armour have rumbled into several Ukrainian cities, only to be met with fierce resistance as well-armed troops used a mixture of their own and NATO-supplied anti-tank weapons to wreak havoc on the invaders.
Some of the most shocking images of the devastation inflicted on Russian armour came from the town of Bucha on the outskirts of Kyiv, where an entire column of tanks and armoured vehicles were obliterated.
Taken yesterday, the pictures show how the burnt-out husks and charred debris from the vehicles had completely blocked one of Bucha's main roads, a mere 20 miles from the centre of the capital.

Russian warship was hit by an anti-ship missile by the Ukrainians in the Black Sea today near Odessa. Wait until that news hits the press and the Putinistas. Especially if it sinks.

I’m retired Detroit Fire/EMS.
A car fire in an ally causes fires and melting of surrounding structures.
Fences burn or melt depending on what the material is.
Nearby garages will burn or start to burn. Siding melts.
Overhead power lines melt and burn and fall apart.
Very little damage in these pics from numerous tanks burning and getting blown up vs what I’ve seen one car in a Detroit ally do.
The Red Army didn’t lose 4.9 MILLION soliders in Operation Bartbarossa by being cautious. The Germans only lost 1.1 million and LOST. Putin doesn’t care and the Russian people are not built like the rest of us. Dig in. This is going to last YEARS.
Sincerely doubt that if your capital city was being encircled and the supply column for the besieging troops was sitting in the open, a daring commander would try to shell it with long range artillery, send in mortar teams ( as the NVA and VC did in Vietnam) and take advantage of the Ukrainians knowledge of the terrain with sapper teams. Sorry but something about that open column not being attacked or harassed simply does not make sense.
