I’m beginning to see the View as a bunch of girls who were in a click in high school, and when they graduated they had no friends. Now they have a following of losers who want to hate everyone those girls hate.
I agree with Joy Behar, as always. I believe it was a great idea to cancel Lincoln's Birthday. It's also great they're continuing to water down Washington's Birthday, so most Americans now consider that day Presidents' Day (commemorating such great Presidents as Jimmy Carter). It's only a matter of time before the Democrats/RINOs remove any remaining association with George Washington regarding Presidents' Day. Good riddance to Abraham Lincoln & George Washington. Evil white men.
Give it a few more years and Presidents' Day will become Barack Hussein Obama Day. He deserves it, after all. He was a better President than Jimmy Carter, or he was worse, I'm not sure which. Maybe they'll eventually give Jimmy Carter his own separate holiday, say on April 1.
New Year's Day is racist because it was created by evil white men. So let's change that holiday to New BLM's Day. That makes more sense. Given MLK has his own holiday, it's racist that Malcolm X doesn't have his own national holiday. Make it so, Amerika! Then there's the fact that the Juneteenth National Holiday renders Independence Day redundant, so cancel July 4 as well. C'mon, Amerika, what's taking her so long? Then it will be time to cancel Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans' Day. Thanksgiving Day? That's racist, too. Cancel it. That brings us to Christmas Day. Cancel it also, and replace it with a new Kwanzaa National Holiday. Then the Democrat/RINO crusade will finally be complete. Oh wait, not quite. Cancel capitalism, cancel the constitutional democratic republic, and instead officially make the U.S. a socialist/communist country. Then the Democrat/RINO objective will finally be fully realized.

I fully expect July 4th to be eventually transferred to the nearest Monday and the holiday to be called Independence Weekend.
It should be what is always was - "Lincoln's Birthday" and "Washington's Birthday" - two separate holidays celebrated on the actual day of their respective births. They both deserve the honor, not "Presidents" so we can combine the days and have a single meaningless Monday holiday. That cheapens both great men and their singular accomplishments.
I believe Veterans’ Day was moved to a Monday, but veteran groups objected and it was restored to November 11. I’m old enough to remember its being called ‘Armistice Day’ that marked the end of World War I.

My grandson just won a basketball tourney at the school he attends. Before the game, They had a prayer and pledged to the flag.
The school is Christian and was built by Braves pitcher, Smoltz and comedian, Jeff Foxworthy.
We used to have prayer and the pledge at our community schools.. until gov took over.

Lincoln still had a birthday. His would be noted on the 12th, Washington the 22nd. You not admiring him doesn’t change that. Generic calendars mention first day of summer, Ramadan etc. You can live with it I think.
