Let’s see. Democrat Gov. so the seat’s safe even if he’s in bad shape. Would he quit and take one for the team? Remember they’re democrats.
Notice that the AP has absolutely no concern about the health or well-being of this Senator. It’s all about Biden’s “agenda” you see. If this were a Republican, there’d be demands he resign immediately and the Twitter trolls would be wishing he’d die.
Does Congress have a medical retirement option?
He may need the insurance after leaving.

Which GOP senators will cut a deal, in the interest of fairness, where one GOP senator will refuse to vote until this guy gets back?
Plenty to pick up the slack on the other side.
It’s the higher road, you know.
From now until maybe then, they are a minority-majority that controls the agenda but doesn't have the votes, and Harris is irrelevant without a tie.
The longer that Luján is absent, the longer that judges won't be confirmed or Democrat bill will be passed.
Schumer has already pulled several confirmation votes and he is reported to be reworking the calendar.
I'm happy with the Democrats squandering their remaining time. The question is, will they be happy or will they act to get that vote back?
Maybe they're willing to give Luján one month to recover, or maybe they're just too ruthless by nature to let the time pass.
We shall see.

Jo Jo needs to get the hell out of the basement and get the store shelves stocked. I just went to HEB to get a head of lettuce.
