On Sept. 25, 2021, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures was launched to memorize the world of film.
It was a good idea.
The cinematic experience is unique, and well known the world over. Where else can a diverse group of people be engaged such that they forget their differences and experience almost identical emotions simultaneously?
The world of film is also where art and technology unite to deliver a unique mix of sound and image.
Beyond entertainment, cinema is an important module of literature. Many films have also transcended the realms of the cinema halls to become cultural milestones the world over.
Motion pictures have existed for more than a century, hence a museum dedicated to the magic of the movies was not just a welcome idea, it was essential.
However, once launched, a major problem with the Museum became instantly apparent to its patrons.
The story of Hollywood’s founding is both exceptional and inspiring. A group of primarily Jewish émigrés arrived in America to escape anti-Semitic persecution in Europe and set up what would become a multibillion-dollar industry.
This includes Paramount Pictures co-founder Adolph Zukor, Warner Bros. founders Harry and Jack Warner, Universal Pictures co-founder Carl Laemmle, Columbia Pictures co-founder Harry Cohn, and MGM co-founders Sam Goldwyn and Louis B. Mayer.
While partisan hatred may have marred the universal charms of what used to be wholesome entertainment, Hollywood still continues to captivate audiences globally and is likely to last as long as the human race.
Shockingly, the history of the origins of Hollywood and its Jewish founders at the Museum was conspicuous by its absence.
There was even little reference of Jewish auteurs who shaped Hollywood.

Should have gotten that in writing before donating $50 million.
I for one have often deplored the influence of Jews in Hollywood not for the cinematic quality of the films they produced which is the world standard but for the left-wing drift of those films that as only become more flagrant in the century or so since Jews pioneered Hollywood.
Eastern European Jews have a cultural history in favor of social activism which sometimes, too often really, takes the form of socialism. Why cannot this be acknowledged and explored?
Equally, the real story of communist infiltration of Hollywood in the McCarthy era should be told, but told honestly. Yes, the overreach in some instances of the House Un-American Activities Committee, but also the very real threat posed by communist infiltration of the powerful medium which did so much to shape America's cultural values.
The drift away from Christianity to secularism should also be explored as well as the recent sellout to Chinese censorship and the absurd support of the Palestinians.
Hey at least they have exhibits Academy Museum of Motion Pictures honoring Spike Lee and the art of movie making...or Black silent film then an now....PLUS a special exhibit entitled ....

“Half Jewish” here via my dad who wasn’t really practicing. Raised in the baptist church due to my scots-Irish baptist mother making it so. I’m still a church goer today. I agree with your post fully. I will say this however, the American Ashkenazi population doesn’t have a bright future. Many marry outside the fair like my dad did and the rest are mostly atheist JINOs and super left. The real Jews are the conservative and Orthodox Jews who follow the commandments and have plenty of kids. While they can be a little odd at times, especially the orthodox, they are a conservative people; and if things are binary, they’re on our side.
