Jesse Watters has been named the permanent host of the 7 p.m. ET timeslot on Fox News Channel with a new hour-long program "Jesse Watters Primetime," FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott announced on Monday.
"Jesse’s versatility and hosting acumen has grown exponentially over the last five years, and he has developed a deep connection to the audience through two hit shows The Five and Watters’ World. We look forward to watching him expand his connection even further through this new solo weeknight hour," Scott said.
Watters, who co-hosts the wildly successful "The Five" and the weekend program "Watters’ World," will take over the "Fox News Primetime" slot that has been filled by rotating guest hosts since the network shook up its programming lineup last year.

I have a different take than you. Imo Hemmer is an arrogant, pompous idiot. And, it’s obvious the network is having difficulty finding a partner willing to put up with his incessant talking over them, constantly leaning over in front of them, pointing in their faces, etc. he’s just a rude cock s*cker. It was obvious Martha Maccallum couldn’t stand him. I thought at times Sandra Smith was going to punch his lights out. It’s my guess that his partnering with Dana Perino is his last chance. And, it’s obvious that she just tolerates his obnoxious behavior. Guessing it won’t be long he will be working with Shepherd Smith. Good riddance I say…

I didn’t know that about Dobbs but figured that would come eventually. He didn’t follow a script etc. Was his own man. But they are still a media operation which depends on viewers and sustaining their No 1 popularity. It’s a business first. And that means I have to dial out Cavoto, and Martha....and often Bayer or what’s his name. Others I enjoy...the five and late night are good.
I like Tucker tells it how he sees it....just don’t like his delivery. Love Levin but just his Sunday or special shows....his radio can’t bare his shrieking. And Hannity I take depending on his guest.

Trump is a fan of Fox and occasionally appears on their shows. And Rush was also a big supporter of Fox. What they like, I like!
Tucker was worth watching a few nights back when he ripped Ted Cruz a new one.
To me, it seemed like Martha adored Hemmer. And working solo she is just flat out boring.
It’s not even Lachlan’s father’s Fox.
Jesse toes the line, but he’s far better than Shep ever was.
I listened to Hannity for years while driving. Then, about 15 years ago I referred to him as Sean VANNITY because he never STFU. That guy’s ego is so inflated he never lets his guests speak.
Good for him. Now let’s see how Ling it takes for the poisonous media brine to soak into his head? I predict Memorial day we won’t recognize Waters from Brett Baier.
Sean’s difficulty is that his likeability axis is a mismatch with his intelligence axis. Those data points need to get at least onto the same page.
Guys quit being SO negative. Jesse Waters getting his own primetime show in this 7-8pm slot is HUGE VICTORY for our side.
Martha McCallum got dumped because WE all stopped watching her after the election night AZ call. Her ratings tanked and they moved her show to the middle of the afternoon(circling the drain). SO, BE HAPPY. We won. It is a small victory.
This is almost as good as Fox News parting ways with Chris Wallace.
In addition Greg Gutfeld is #1 in the late night time slot beating out everyone else.
IMHO Fox News has learned that their viewers do not want to listen/see dumb a$$ liberals.

That has been my complaint against Hannity as well....he doesn’t allow his guests to complete what they’re saying.....very rude as I see it. Steals words right out of his guests mouth before they’re even off their lips.
